Dr. Stanley Suchy Wang, MD

Suggest that you do not consult re sleep issues. Go to a specialist. The sleep study process appears to be a low involvement high revenue generator for Dr. Wang and affiliated hospital. He refers you to the Heart Hospital for a sleep study instead of a reasonably priced sleep study center. The bill was exorbitant and way higher than previous studies. In addition. he didn't follow up with my results and I had to do all the work. Very disappointing.

Dr. Wang has a personality that we do not often associate with a busy cardiologist. He always appears to listen,hear and enjoy visiting with me. I do not feel as if he has one foot out of the door as soon as he steps in. To me that is important. My thinking has slowed, my hearing is bad and I often respond slower even though my mind wants to respond faster. Dr. Wang never appears to notice or be in a hurry.

Wonderful visit! Staff super friendly and most accommodating. Dr Wang very personable, professional, and a good listener. Great to have one Dr with 2 specialties: cardiology and sleep medicine. I feel I am in good hands here.

Because of a finding via a CAT-scan that was unrelated to cardiac/circulatory issues, I scheduled an appointment with Austin Heart â??South Austin. My appointment was with Dr. Stanley Wang. Starting at the first telephone call, I was quickly given an appointment. I was directed to a website that allowed me to fill out my appointment forms, which I did. On arriving at the South-Austin facility, I was given a couple of forms to bring my status up to date, but before I could complete the forms, I was called back to the examination room. The attendant who took my vital signs and electrocardiogram was efficient, pleasant, and helpful. Dr. Wang reviewed my CAT-scan , visually went through the sequences, and pointed out problem areas and developed future follow-up plans and procedures that will further his understanding of my medical condition. I was given numerous opportunities to ask questions and each was answered. On checking-out, testing arrangements were made before I left. From the moment that I arrived at the facility to my departure, I was met with efficient and courteous staff and felt strongly that I was in the right facility to evaluate my health status.

I have to say, Dr. Wang has changed my opinion of cardiac doctors. I wasn't sure about symptoms I was experiencing right before a move out of state and didn't want to see a new doc there. Dr. Wang understood and IMMEDIATELY got me in, got my test scheduled and done, and let me know the results. He explained everything to me in a way I could understand and was crystal-clear. In short, AMAZING. A cardiac doc who actually CARES and has terrific bedside manner!

Dr. Wang takes the time to both listen and explain everything. He makes the complex very understandable to ordinary people who need to understand exactly what is going on. I would gladly recommend Dr. Wang to all my friends and family.

I began seeing Dr Wang after my mother's sudden death from a cardiac condition. He found I have a similar condition which we monitor annually. I love that the imaging center is in the same convenient location. All of the staff are great to work with.
