Dr. Stephanie Leemhuis Caywood

Excellent and honest doctor.

I actually had no issues with Dr. Caywood's care. I found her personable and informed on my one brief visit. However, due to billing issues caused by her office staff, I would strongly discourage visiting this office to anyone using health insurance. This was a routine annual exam that has cost me countless hours and months of headaches and is still unresolved. My insurance (Aetna) and the pathologist her office uses (Vivid) are baffled as to how they have managed to turn this into such a mess. Now, when I attempt to contact Vivid Pathology I only get a disconnected message despite threatening letters continue to mail me. NWF Physicians for Women has assured me on multiple occasions that this issue for resolved. Lesson learned: a doctor is only as strong as the office staff and partnering businesses. I suppose I'm thankful I learned this lesson before starting a family or attempting to visit for anything other than a simple and routine check-up. I have tried to be exceedingly patient and kind to the staff and they do not seem apologetic for the headaches this has caused me. I do not wish this experience on anyone.

She would be better in a zoo treating animals!

Dr. Caywood is wonderful! She takes the time to listen and go over everything with you. Her nurse is wonderful and her receptionist, Racheal, is so sweet! I highly recommend Dr. Caywood!

After years of extremely painful exams and trying multiple doctors, I thought I'd try a new one again. I am sure glad I did! Dr. Caywood and her staff (especially Ashley) were so amazing. I explained how pap smears are usually unbearable for me. She was so patient, took an extended amount of time with me, and made sure I was not in pain. She explained everything thoroughly, and really put me at ease.
