so after being told my mother needs surgery multiple times tonight ... the provider just called me back and said the Gordon County Orthopedic surgeon on call says to splint her and she will need to follow up outpatient! She has 7 heart stints, very bad diabetic and her blood pressure is ridiculous and they want her to go home! This is unacceptable!! I am furious and right now the care that has been received at Murray/Gordon blows my mind! I understand there are great risks right now but my mom is in extreme pain which will exacerbate her other conditions!!! We were advised they could transfer her to HMC but we would have to pay out of pocket or we could take her on our own to go through the triage all over again! Are you flipping kidding me?!?!?!-- then comes Monday and your office schedules appt for 2:00 in the afternoon- so therefore another day of pain and us trying to figure out how to transport her!!!

Dr. King has been conservatively treating my knee pain with injections for two years. I appreciate the fact that he has not pushed me into surgery. He is such an humble, Godly man. I am so thankful that he is my doctor.

Dr. King sent me for an MRI for my back. I have a herniated disc and he sent me to another doctor that specializes in backs. He has been so patient and been willing to answer all my questions about the information from the other doctor.

When checking in each one of the gals treated me with the upmost respect. When taken back to the room to wait for Dr. King nurses and staff were exceptional and answered any questions I had. Dr. King explained everything in detail and I was instantly put at ease. I have the upmost respect for him and his staff. Very caring and educated Dr.

Was nervous meeting a new surgeon, but Dr. King put me at ease. He explained everthing very well.

I was referred to Dr. King when I slipped by stepping on my daughter's doggie tug of war rope, and landed on my left shoulder. (Her wood flooring ix waxed and slick). The local ER referred me to Dr. King's practice. I was very impressed with their treatment, and would recommend this physician/practice to anyone with orthopedic needs, particularly breaks. They were helpful in a painful time with their expertise and promptness.

I have been a patient for several years since he began practice in Calhoun, and I have the upmost faith in him for myself and all of my family. The only negative is some of the front office staff in current office are not as friendly as others in the past, but the compassion and care that you receive from Dr King himself, is rare to find in today's medical world.

he is wonderful with surgery,but lacks on believing his patients when they say there in pain.other than this he is a wonderful doctor!!! just dont understand how im not in pain when i tore my surgery out!! which was my fault.

Dr. King is awesome. He is so thorough and efficient. He has a calm, laid back personality which was very comforting when my daughter broke her leg at soccer. Best around!
