I won't go back there unless I can have a different doctor.

I was sent to this doctor by an opthamologist,who the day before diagnosed me with a torn and detached retina. only to arrive first thing the next day ,by this man that I had nothing wrong w/ my eyes!!!!!!! yet,why then on the very next day I went to the Cleveland clinic to have laser surgery on the left eye????? According to the retina specialist at Cleveland, it was termed a giant tear!!!! How can this be???!!! Don't go here if you value your vision!!!!

I am very pleased with Dr. Kaufman and his staff. I take my mom there and thank God she can still see. She gets shots in her eye and he has been very good calming her and helping her get through the appointment.

Dr. Kaufman is an excellent doctor. My eye doctor told me I have macular degeneration and I thought I was going to go blind. Dr. Kaufman told me that there are effective treatments. He showed me ways to prevent macular degeneration from getting worse and he gave me confidence that I will be able to keep my vision.

He really takes his time and cares about his patients, and his treatments helped me keep my reading vision.

Dr. Kaufman was very kind and friendly and he has a nice sense of humor. He explained everything to me and my daughter and his treatment helped my macular degeneration.

Very bad bedside manner...if you think you have something serious I would go elsewhere.

My pulmanologist suspected mold in my lung and told me to see an eye specislist because the mold may effect my retina. I called this office and I was told they could not see me because they were retina specialists !! Isn't that what I needed?? They suggested I see a "regular optomoligist" who can recomend me to them if the problem is in the retina. The secretay was rude and when she asked me why I wanted an appointment, I was telling her what my pulmonologist said, she interrupted me to say they only treated the eyes. Does she think I am stupid ! If I need a surgeon, I won't be calling this office back. This review is not a reflection on the doctor, but rather on their office policy and staff.
