Dr. Stephen Paul Rittmann, MD

TERRIBLE PHYSICIAN. do not see this doctor. I am a physician myself and my mother is his patient. Nothing ever gets addressed. She has to ask him questions about her blood work being abnormal. There is zero communication. He does not address her health needs. DO NOT SEE THIS MAN. He's awful.

He has a very bad attitude and sense of superiority. Not respectfull at all. Sorry

Ask for referral over 3 weeks. Still can’t make it.

He takes the time to listen to you in a very casual, comfortable way. After that he does not rush through his diagnosis. He explains everything to you. Rittman is extremely knowledgeable in medicine. His diagnosis is always spot on. I will never change our doctor.

Dr Rittmann has been a great doctor over the last 12 year.

I like Doctor Rittman as a doctor however, He needs to do more research on MC for his patients. I am his patient and I am already on Medical C and I was a huge skeptic, but I believe it really does help patients with a better quality of life.

Been w/ him for 16 years. I met him through my ex-husband who'd been with him since he was a kid. He knows his stuff. Within seconds, usually, he has a diagnosis and all with a great sense of humor. I wish I could keep him.

After waiting over an hour, this doctor wearing a Hawaiian shirt walks in, makes an inappropriate joke and does not listen to my complaint or why I was there. He was in the room for about 5 minute and then just orders labs. What is this medicine? Going to a different doctor. Unprofessional. I got a huge bill for this visit. Garbage medicine.

Dr Rittman has been my doctor since he was in his first year of practice. He delivered one of my daughters, in 1983. He's helped me with taking care of my 3 daughter's, helped me through some of the good, bad and the ugly! He's helped me through some HORRIBLE surgeries, diabetes, migraines! Very sympathetic, doesn't give up to find a solution to help with your problems, if he can't he will guide you in the right direction. Love that man! Also can't believe he's 65! Hahaha He should retire and enjoy life but glad he didn't! He also has a wonderful daughter in the practice now too, Alison Rittman my sister and her daughters have her and she's good too!

Best doctor EVER. I completely trust him. After years of switching doctors every time I needed to see one, finding Dr. Rittmann was a godsend. I would not trust anyone else with my health. He is truly an amazing doctor.

The best Doctor ever. I've been seeing him for 32yrs. My whole family also goes to Dr. Rittmann. He doesn't push pills, and he finds out what's wrong with you. You will not be disappointed with him, he has a logical approach, and really cares about his patients. I totally recommend him.

Dr. Stephen Rittmann is a very, very good person!! He helped me so very, very much when I was raising my precious son, Andrew Scott Janssen who has travelled the world, and is a most extremely kind and genius person. God bless you always, Dear Dr. Stephen Rittmann!

Never had a Dr. (professional???) act the way I saw this one stomp out of the appointment and tell a patient to get a new Dr. when the patient was explaining what a collegue had done or said that he did not agree with.Very disappointing and hurtful and brought me to tears when it comes from one who has been your Dr. for several yrs. and whom you admired and would not have considered leaving.

I've been seeing Dr Rittmann since I was in college and he was just beginning his practice, 32-33 years. I like his practical approach, he won't just give you a bottle of pills like antibiotics, if they won't help. He delivered all 3 of my kids and did all their well-child care and childhood illnesses as well. He's willing to admit when he doesn't have the answer and refer you to someone who does, or sometimes he'll just assure you of the body's amazing ability to heal itself and just tell you to be patient for things like viruses or minor injuries. I suppose when he eventually retires I'll go to his daughter who just joined the practice. It's almost like the old-time family Doctor, except he doesn't do house calls!

Personable and caring, Dr. Rittmann makes his patients feel comfortable and at ease. He takes adequate time with you and makes referrals when needed.

Unfortunately I've needed ongoing care since high school. Dr. Rittmann became my physician in the late 70's. He's been my doctor ever since. He has given me exceptional care and referred me to exceptional specialist in many areas. He has a distinct personality that if you don't understand can be misinterpreted as arrogant or uncaring. That is the opposite of his reality. Thanks Doc!

I kissed a lot of frogs before I found Dr. Rittmann...I've referred my entire family and most of my friends to him. He treated my terminally ill mother and made her feel very special and cared for until her dying day. How anyone can say he is arrogant and uncaring escapes me. He has been my doctor for over 12 years and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking a good family physician. He may be closing in on retirement age, so ask first if you're looking for a long-term commitment.
