I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr Vara for my cancer. His compassion for his patients is incredible and his knowledge is unsurpassed! I recently went to make my follow up appointment only to discover he is no longer there. I’m saddened that I couldn’t tell him just how much I appreciate all he did for me. Dr. Vara has been treating me for just over a year. I feel as if I could not have found a better oncologist, either technically (as he seems up to date on every issue that comes up) or on a personal level (he is warm, and with a sense of humor).
