Dr Howell explained what he thought the problem was and what he wanted to try 1st before doing more tests or therapy . It was my 1st visit and it went great.

If you are having problems with your feet I highly recommend that you see Dr Howell. He will examine and explain what is necessary to fix the problem and in my case pointed out a problem I wasn't aware of. If you have questions ask them. He will answer them.

DR Howell If you want the best you have to wait and I assure you it's worth the wait very personable gets right to the point explaining each and every point so you have a good understanding of what is going on even draws pictures to help you understand, love the pictures, truly skilled in his craft and cares about all his patients. We are very fortunate to have him in Wichita.

Dr Howell took the time to listen to all of my complaints. He went over x-rays with me and MRI'S with me. He was able to help me understand why my feet hurt so bad all the time. He took the time to show me pictures of previous peoples surgeries. Showed me what he would have to do to my feet. Videos of other people and how they felt their surgery went. Discussed that I wanted to try and get both feet done before the end of the year since my deductible had already been met. He felt it was possible. Left foot surgery done. Still in recovery. He told me in advance what the path would be. Only complaint I have would be that they hold LOA paperwork hostage unless you pay for them to fill it out.

Dr. Howell was very personable and was quick to describe what he could do to help me with my hammer toes. He explained that doing the hammer toes first might preclude having to have further work done on my foot in the future. I appreciate that he was not quick to just jump in and add a bunionectomy to the surgery as well. This was not the case with my previous experience several years ago with my other foot. I highly recommend him for an initial appointment. Looking forward to positive results post-surgery.

My GP told me not to go to an orthopedist because they would want to do surgery right away. So, I went to a podiatrist who after the 2nd visit was scheduling me for surgery. I went to Dr Howell at someone's recommendation, and he found other solutions for my problems for at least 5 years that really worked for me. Eventually, he had to operate. I would trust any advice he gave me. Love that GP, but he was wrong about that one.

Dr. Howell was a rating of 5. He explained to me what he thought was the problem but felt he needed more information and is needing a MRI at his office and I am waiting for a call to get that set up.

Dr. Howell is very knowledgeable as well as very kind. He explained the issues with my foot and offered solutions that should help with my pain.

Dr. Howell was so kind. He spent the time needed to explain why I'm having foot pain, explained the x-rays and the surgery needed to correct the problem. He was reassuring and knowledgeable, and when he spoke you could tell that he's passionate about what he does. This was night and day from a previous experience with another healthcare provider. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Howell! I went to the office near Ridge & 96. A heads up if you are noise sensitive, the lobby is cavernous and the sound of dozens of people talking felt hugely magnified...bring ear buds to drown out the sound.
