Dr. Steven Thomas Ericksen, MD

My appointment was great from start to finish. I am a new patient, so of course it took a little extra time to get the x-rays & back to a room and all; but that's to be expected. Dr. Ericksen was very thorough in his exam and was able to find the issues right away. We'll be moving forward with an MRI & a CT to define the EXACT issues needing fixed from prior surgeries and a recent fall. With results in hand, I feel 1,000% confident that Dr. Ericksen will proceed swiftly due to my issues, with proper direction and TLC to aid in bettering my QUALITY of LIFE. He is extremely professional, yet extremely personable which makes you more at ease and for me; it made the conversation and discussion about what his current findings were and what direction we were taking next completely understandable and helped me breathe a little easier for the time being. NO STRESS.... UNLESS I'M HEADED TOWARDS BACK SURGERY #4 ALREADY ?? BUT, even if I am; I feel comfortable knowing that I will be in great hands!

Sorry, I liked the Doc and his Nurse Ryan, I just had an appt that didn't go well. I was early, like they ask you to be, my appointment was at 2:15 but because of other patients, either getting there too early or by being LATE, they rearranged the appts and I waited for more than 45 minutes before I got back to a room. Ryan was apologizetic so oh well, what to do.

I saw Dr Ericksen's PA and he is awesome. He explained the MRI results and discussed options going forward in a clear manner.

Dr. Ericksen was very thorough and concise with his exam, and immediately recommended the next stage of progression without any extra fluff. Definitely knows what he's doing, and is interested in finding the cause of the problem.

Dr. Ericksen reviewed my test results with me, shared with me his medical expertise, addressed my concerns, answered all my questions and my wife's questions in regards to the surgery I would require to address my right neck and arm pain.

Dr. Ericksen listened to me, asked the right questions and did not rush me. I left with the feeling that he genuinely cared about me and my condition.

Dr. Erickson took the time to explain my MRI results and showed me the exact issues that needed to be addressed. He was empathetic and reassuring when discussing the plan to repair the damage to my neck. I left the office feeling confident in my choice of surgeon.

I went in to see Dr. Ericksen for several troublesome symptoms, he was very knowledgeable and precise about his diagnosis and put his plan into action immediately. I was in for an acdf surgery in a very efficient manner. He is a great surgeon who actually cares for and about his patients. He’s honest and gets right down to explaining details very well about his plans and goals. Dr. Ericksen and his team are all very kind and quick to help with your needs. I will definitely recommend him to anyone who is in need of a spine specialist and surgeon. He’s quite great at what he does.

This is my third encounter with Dr Ericksen and as always been the case he was to the point with no beating around, He was right the past two times I am exceedling happy with the visit and his recommendations.

Told me how it was, my options. What did i want to do next. Pretty simple, truthful and straight to the point. Told him what i would like to do. Said it sounded good, will get the ball rolling. I will be contacted with in the next couple days for next step!!!!

Dr. Steven Ericksen and his assistant, Nurse Practitioner Ryan Prebble are excellent medical professionals who I would recommend very highly. They practice at Kansas Orthopeaedic in Wichita, KS.

Dr Erickson is a very efficient and a great surgeon. He has a great bed side manner.

Dr Erickson made time for us in an emergency situation and we think he is the very best Dr for backs. We will always go to him in the future when we need help.
