After receiving multiple doctor opinions in which the recommendations were an ankle fusion, it was recommended that I see Dr. Herbst. After meeting with him he was confident that an ankle replacement would correct my issues. I am now almost four months post surgery and have absolutely no arthritic pain! I’ve no doubt that I will be 100% back to my normal activities in the near future! I couldn’t be more thankful for Dr. Herbst and his team, they were wonderful to work with and made me feel confident that I had made the right decision every step of the way! I would highly recommend Dr. Herbst!

I have been a patient for over 15 years. I had a horrible break in my ankle 25 years ago and began seeing Dr Herbst when I move to this area. In 2015, I received a Zimmer total ankle replacement which he helped to design. Although I will never be pain free, my quality of life is better than inever dreamed it could be. The care I've received from Dr Herbst and his team has been the greatest care possible.

He replaced my ankle I had no pain after surgery. Also done another surgery for tarsal tunnel. No pain after surgery. I was really happy. Would highly recommend him.

Dr Herbst is outstanding! His skills are fantastic and he is very personable and caring. I have had extensive problems with my feet. It is difficult to find a good foot orthopedist who specializes in foot surgery. Dr Herbst is the best out there.

I saw him for possible surgery but made myself very clear that I wanted to avoid surgery at all cost. He was rude when referring to my other doctors who have helped me immensely. I overheard him outside my door talking negative to a therapist about me. I don't trust him at all. His staff was nice.
