Dr. Steven Troy Hunnell, MD

Dr. Hunnell was amazing. My daughter recently had a spinal tap done in which he was to be the anesthesiologist. However, her neurologist failed to give me the correct instructions about food before the anesthetic, so we didn't end up having it done. I was really concerned about my kido but wasn't allowed to go back with her for the procedure. Even though we didn't end up using his services, dr. Hunnell went back with her for consolation and support. He let her hold his finger and spoke with her the entire time. I am certain that his presence and kindness made all the difference in her experience. Also, after the procedure was finished, her neurologist rushed out while Dr. Hunnell stayed behind to answer any questions and explain after care and potential side effects. Both mine and my daughters experience was made far more pleasant by Dr. Hunnell's kindness. I'd recommend him to anyone. My 8 yr old even suggested she make him a Christmas card.
