I've been a patient for 2 years, this week I went to Moffitt for a consultation. The Drs. at Moffitt told me the cover letter and records sent by Dr. Lester were "excellent and exceptionally thorough, all Drs. reports should be as thorough and clear as his, but rarely are." Dr Lester is a kind, paitient doctor. He was one of the first doctors that I was referred to after my breast cancer diagnosis. He took the time to explain to me and my husband the process that was ahead of me and answered all our questions. Throughout my radiation treatment Dr. Lester and his staff were outstanding with their treatment of me and made me feel very comfortable during the process. I am now cancer free thanks to a team of Doctors that included Dr. Lester.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lester's for about six years and have always been impressed with his thoroughness and willingness to spend as much time as necessary to evaluate my health problems and make recommendations. His easy going manner makes the patient feel very comfortable and unstressed. He is always very prompt and is apparently as considerate of the patients' time as of his own. I would highly recommend him to anyone finding a need for cancer care.

I was introduced to Dr. Lester by my ENT Surgeon Dr. Robert Collette. This was a follow-up to surgical removal of a cancerous lymph node in my left neck by Dr. Casler at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. The Mayo Clinic recommended radiation treatment vs, watchful waiting. From the get go I found Dr. Lester to be very informative and caring about my treatment, that he and Dr. Lee took turns monitoring during the 33 treatments. I also found the support staff, including Kelly my primary radiation technician, as well as Nicole and other members of the administrative and nursing support team, to be very helpful and considerate during my 6-7 weeks of treatment, and my follow-up appointments. Dr. Lester is an AMAZING doctor and his staff are all very professional. Dr. Lester takes his time with his patients to make sure they understand about their care. His staff greeting is so warm and welcoming.

Dr. Lester's staff offer up Efficiency and Caring - you feel it over the phone and when you walk in the door. Dr. Lester is simply (one of) the best. He gets to the point quickly, but takes time to answer your questions and concerns in a straightforward, easy to understand manner. You know at all times that you're in good hands - not to mention he came highly recommended by his peers.

I am very happy with the care I received from Dr. Lester and his caring staff. Things are trying enough with what the patient is going through and this staff make you feel good. I can't give it stars on "Follows Up After Visit" because I really can't remember although I do think I was called after my first treatment there.
