Dr. Steven Jay Perlman, MD

My mother was in the hospital for lung cancer and was to have a PET Scan on a Thursday and since it was a holiday weekend it was not going to be read until Tuesday and results would be back till Wednesday. I called from my mother's room and asked for the head of Radiology and I did get Dr. Steven Perlman. I told him my concern, along with all the other emotions entailed with our families situation and told me that he would retrieve the scan via internet and call me back. The doctor that told us we could not get the results till Wednesday came in scratching his head and was absolutely flabbergasted that the results were on his desk within the hour. I love Perlman and made a mental note and when my father went in I had an ace in the hole as far as Radiology was concerned.

Rude. Interprets tests poorly and blames patient. Same test read by another Radiologist provided clear results.
