Dr. Steven Si Liu, MD

I probably went to the wrong doctor. Doctor Liu seemed distant and wasn’t really listening to me. He prescribed a six day regimen of Prednisone and a pain medication that did nothing for the pain and left me constipated. Doctor Liu completely miss the fact I hurt myself when lifting a heavy object. He didn’t bother to investigate any possible condition. He never stepped away from his laptop to check me out in any way. Come to find out no one at Tri Valley Orthopedic can diagnose a hernia. Thanks for that info! Doctor Liu is a pain management specialist. I don’t see myself EVER needing his services again.

Cassandra was so friendly and helpful! I’ve been going to this office for years and the office staff has never been friendly until today. Cassandra went above and beyond. Dr.Liu is really wonderful and helpful.

Not impressed with Dr. Lui’s beside manner. He explained things to me but not in detail which I would have liked. Friendly enough but he could do a lot better. I now have questions I’ll have to call him on.

Very happy with Dr Steven Liu. Had a great visit and he took the time to listen and understood my concerns.

Let me begin by saying I have been a patient of TVO for several years and have had nothing but great experiences with Dr’s Stein and Rush. Unfortunately this was not the case with Dr. Liu. After waiting over 45 minutes he walked in and his greeting was “Hey”. No introduction, no sorry for the wait, nothing. Proceeded to tell me that he looked at the X-rays and told me there was probably nothing that would help shy of surgery. I said I was not interested in surgery. Don’t know if Dr Liu is a good doctor or not but his attitude toward a new patient leaves a lot to be desired.

Very impatient. Only looks at insurance and not treating you based on what is best for you.

Dr. Liu has given me several epidurals. Each time, he has been prompt, professional, friendly, efficient and effective. Special emphasis on effective – he knows his profession.

I appreciate Dr. Liu and his staff.

Dr. Liu is always very attentive. He is very concerned about my issues. The staff is very efficient and kind. I recommend Dr. Liu and this office.

Dr Liu has been great! He always listens and takes his time to discuss things fully. I never feel rushed, my questions and / or concerns are always answered and explained. He is a true asset to the Practice.

First visit to Dr. Liu and I was quite impressed. His Questionnaire alone was quite lengthy letting me know he cared about my overall health history. I actually felt feel he cared about my pain level, how long I’ve been dealing with it and quickly devised a plan on how to treat it. He heard me.
