Had my right knee replaced Sept 12 now I have drop foot, I have been in pain ever since, I called for my pain refill on this pass Monday & Wed & Friday , NO pain pills called in , they keep saying their waiting for Dr Sokoloski to sign it ???? and the pain is so bad I have trouble sleeping

I'll try to make a long story short. While on vacation I injured my knee walking on uneven ground. Went to ER in another state. Was told after Xrays I had a possible meniscus tear. Given crutches and a stabilizer and told to follow up at home. Made an appointment with this "Doctor". Visit began on a friendly note. He looked at my X-rays said he agreed with original diagnosis. Then he tells me that the way they repair tears is with surgery. He tells me how the surgery is done and asks if that was something I would be interested in looking into. I said not at this time, thinking maybe he would suggest having an MRI done and possible PT. I was WRONG! He said ok, and if I became more sympomatic to call back. I asked is he would still order the MRI. He said NO because that was expensive and if I wasn't moving forward with treatment he would not order the test. WHAT? His whole demeanor changed when I refused surgery as a first option. I asked when I could resume high intensity workouts. His answer: whenever. I asked in a needed to wear a brace. His answer: no brace and no crutches. I asked what I should take for the pain. His answer: whatever you want. He did say I would not do more damage by walking on it without aid. As he was completing his notes in the computer he said to call if I needed to but he hoped to not see me again. (Not sure how I feel about that comment) The one star is for the receptionist who initially greeted me. She was very friendly and helpful. The nurse who saw me first was nice as well. I didn't really have any interactions with anyone else in the office. Won't be going back there and I have already scheduled an appointment with another doctor for a second opinion. I'm not a fan of Dr. Sokoloski. Would not recommend.

Worst experience of my life. Long story short I was sent to PT when my bone was still broken, and it is now looking like I will need surgery for a simple Fibula fracture. He cost me a year of my life. Awful from the start. Does not give any information unless you ask for it. Told me Motrin is fine. Always in a hurry with one foot out the door. I would highly recommend looking for a bone doctor that knows bones.

I saw Dr. Sokoloski for a second opinion after dealing with a torn quadraceps tendon with another orthopedic group. He did my surgery and I am now in the mend. He is kind, honest and professional. The office staff is awesome as well.

Arrogant, I was pinned between two cars at an auction. I had broke my femur crushed my knee and cut my artery.five hours later he showed up at the hospital. During therapy the P T's noticed my foot kicked out to the left. When asked he was adamant that it was set straight and released me to work. 1 year latter after second opinion with my foot rotated out 25? I am undergoing a serious operation to remove the hardware, re break the femur making an incision about the length of the thigh and installing a plate. He has 6 hours blocked off in the O.R. another 3 months of rehab which all could have been avoided if he had just done his job! Unfortunately he was the one on call

The worst doctor I have ever seen! Incredibly rude and will not answer a single question or concern you may have. I went through a horrible accident at work and my leg from knee down had been torn and crushed. Its been almost 6 months and has no answers to why my bone is not healing or why i continue to have so much pain. He acts as if I'm bothering him with m questions and literally only spends less than 60 seconds in the room with me. He may be an ok surgeon but as far as a concerning doctor he sucks. Switching docs after my appt with him today.

Dr Sokoloski's office called me on Monday morning to schedule an initial visit. They had been referred to me by another doctor. Much to my surprise, I was scheduled for Wednesday at 2:30. I'm not a fan of going to the doctors office, so it was with a general skepticism that I went. Imagine my relief when Dr Sokoloski's saw me and told me, based on his observations, that i was in better shape than I feared, and no follow up was necessary. You don't hear that from the dr. often. Needless to say, I was 1 happy camper! 5 Stars

Very comfortable talking with him about shoulder problem and he explained every thing throughly . Five seven minute wait to see him.

I found Dr. Sokoloski and his staff to be very friendly, professional, and knowledgable. He repaired/removed my torn meniscus about two months ago, but it already feels 100% better! I highly recommend choosing Dr. Sokoloski if you are in need of surgery.

I have seen my share of doctors in my life, but none more rude than this one. Walks in the room after keeping you waiting in the room for over a hour and never introduces himself, just ask whats the problem, you are treated like a number instead of a person. After his 30 second exam he walked out of the room while I was asking a question and went to the next patient. Don't waste your time or gas in seeing this poor excuse for a doctor.

If u want the proper care ans someone to listen to you. DON' T go to him. I'm in the medical profession and I will not recommend him to anyone. After almost 3 weeks of being in pain he told me to go back to work...., went for 2 nd opinion and this md looked at my MRI I have I menial and lateral meniscus tear and a lot of fluid on my knee. Do more time off work!!!!!!

At first I thought he had solved my problem. He removed a bone spur in my shoulder. But weeks later I began having a lot of pain in the area. He refused to give me anything more than Tylenol 3 which didn't even touch the pain. After 3 month of complaining of pain he released me back to work telling me I was fine & walked out of the office on me. I went to a different Dr. & he said I had soft tissue damage. Hmmm that don't sound like I am fine at all. PS this was workmans comp

Dr Sokolowski left my uncle permanently disabled after he performed knee surgery, botched the corrective surgeries, and misdiagnosed the reasons for the surgeries not working, and did not realize my uncle got MRSA due to this medical nightmare. Almost 2 years and my uncle can not walk, can not drive, has MRSA. Spent nearly 2 years in hospitals and rehab facilities due to this surgeon. His life will never be the same...not even close.

Was recommended by his partner for cartlidge missing from my knee after an accident. Was given several different options as to the solution. I chose a Carticel replacment. Had the surgery in 2007. It is 2011 and the stuff still keeps growing. I have to keep having surgery to have the excess removed. He has no idea when it will stop growing because supposedly it has never happened before. I would not recommend him for this and various other reasons.
