1st State Orthopedic and Dr. Steven Tooze are the best!

Dr. Tooze's rating should be 100 STARS. He is a great Doctor & Surgeon and a very caring gentleman. This is my third surgery and I have not had any real pain post-op. Meds were not needed. Lori, Dr. Tooze's Registered Nurse/assistant is also the BEST! They all make you feel like family. Thank you Doc and Lori.

Wait time in the waiting room was 35 minutes. Wait time in the examining room was 6 minutes. Staff was friendly. Clean and neat facility

I love Dr. Tooze. He replaced my hip about 3 weeks ago and I'm almost back to 100% recovered. His bedside manor is second to none. I'll be taking all my Ortho needs to Dr. Tooze. His staff is awesome as well. Thank you Dr. Tooze.

Dr.Tooze was recommended by my therapist after having a knee replacement and moving here to Dover only 2 months after, The appointment was quick he made me feel very comfortable. listened to my thoughts and what I expect from my recovery not just saying it's an age thing. I am very out going physically and know my limits but I am not going to just accept I can't do anymore. He actually suggests other things that will still make me feel and be active. Great doctor and his assistant is awesome. The atmosphere is warm and very very nice, respectful employees.

Dr. Tooze has been my husbands Doctor for years. He’s done both of his knee and both hip replacements so when I needed my hip done I didn’t hesitate to make an appointment! He’s the most caring and understanding doctor I’ve ever seen. It’s a joy to see him at each visit.
