Dr. Suelyn Denise Hall, MD

My first visit with Dr. Hall raised red flags for me as I waited with my toddler twins for just over an hour and a half past our appointment time to be seen. When she did come in she took a box of graham crackers from my hands and chastised me for feeding them to my kids. Every appointment had a ridiculously long wait, which is pretty tough to handle with two tiny kiddos no matter how many snacks, toys and activities you bring along. Even so, a minor annoyance compared to the completely egregious recommendation of two surgeries for my daughter along with suggesting that I was negligent and refused medication, worsening her condition when in reality we had discussed the medication and agreed that at the time it wasn’t necessary. After a second opinion with a pediatric urologist, even the medication was unnecessary let alone ANY surgery. Beyond all of this I was shocked at Dr. Hall’s bedside manner. She never once apologized or explained why there was always such an extreme wait, and when I did finally bring it up her response was basically that she was about to refer me somewhere else with an even longer wait. But perhaps the most disturbing was when she told me she hoped my daughter needed a specific surgery because it was her favorite to do. I will never bring my daughter back to this urologist, and I am so glad I saugt a second opinion.

I went to see Dr. Hall yesterday for a urinary problem. After reading some of the other reviews, I was pleasantly surprised! Dr. Hall was very respectful and kind, made good eye contact with me and seemed genuinely interested in my condition. She was respectful of my privacy also. I had been concerned they would require me to have a vaginal exam, which I did not want, but Dr. Hall did not think it was necessary and did not urge me to have one. We did have a long wait time, but that is pretty normal for most any provider you see now days. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hall to any woman with a urinary problem. She is a five-star physician in my opinion, and I would go to her again!

do not go to this woman for medical help. she is a very bad doctor. average appt time less than 2 minutes. does not listen. does not care. she got ahead in medicine solely because of her race and gender. she is a prima donna who cares only about herself. she does not care if you are in pain. she causes pain. if had $ i would sue her.

For each of my two appointments with her she's been more than 45 minutes late. The first time, she said she had five patients waiting and that she was supposed to be at the hospital for surgery in 15 minutes. Seems like a very flaky doctor to me. I'll see someone else in the future.

I'm grateful for having health care. Dr hall is excellent. It bothers me when people complain about waiting! Wait until health becomes govrnment run! Your not entitled!

Horrible woman. As I cried begging her to stop she violated me

I had a very bad experience here. I had surgery last week, she didn't fill out my paperwork for work that I brought to the hospital (FMLA forms and leave slip) so I took it to her office after surgery and they wanted 20 $ for her to fill it out. I called my HR and they said they've never heard of that! So I went in for my follow up today, I sat in the exam room for 30 minutes until the Dr saw me which was for about 3 minutes, the nurse came in to scan my bladder for whatever reason and said Dr Hall would be back. I waited another 20 minutes and no one came in my room so I walked out because I had other things to do. As I was walking out I saw Dr Hall sitting at her computer. I did think she was very nice but that is just ridiculous to have to wait 50 minutes and only see the Dr for 3 minutes. Hopefully this isn't how they treat all their patients but I am very dissatisfied with this business.

Suelyn Hall was extremely insensitive to my elderly mother - shouting in her face YOU HAVE CANCER!" My mother was 89 but not hard of hearing and this kind of insensitivity was extremely unprofessional and rude. Also, my mother had arrived 20 minutes early for her appointment but waited over an hour AFTER appointment time and after other patients with later appointment times.

I was in a lot pain when I went into see her. Her nurse did not know what she was doing. The nurse was rude and snippy with me. The doctor can in and spent a few minutes then was called out and she didn't come back for 40 minutes. I gave up and went to ER where I was treated promptly and felt cared about. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Knowledgable about women's health issues especially hormone related issues.

Have made 3 appointments and never got to even see her because I was left waiting more than an hour and a half every single time and had to end up just leaving. That is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE to treat patients with such little regard and highly disrespectful. If it happens once, it could be a fluke. But 3 times in a row shows that is just how she runs her pactice, with no regard for patients' time being valuable. So unprofessional.

I saw Dr. Hall for hormone replacement and she was excellent with explaining all the results from my test and working with me to get things fixed. Very likable Doctor.

I arrived as suggested 15 minutes before my appt time. I waited 45 minutes past my appt time before called back and addition 25-30 mintues for the doctor to walk in. No apologies or explainations. Dr Hall goes into all the normal questions: what brings you here, etc. She explains the possibilities/causes of my issue and how they can test for it. The doctor gets up and tells me to undress from the waist down and she will be back to do a pelvic exam. I tell her I need to reschedule for it. She said it is apart of the appt. I said I realize that but I wasn't called back for the appt until 45 minutes after the appt time was suppose to be and now it's after an hour of that time. She scoffs at me and said where do I think I am? That this is a urologist office and that I should of allotted for the time. I told her I had but not for it to go that long past my appt. She, Dr. Hall raised her voice at me and asked well how long do I wait for an Army doctor? I told her not 45 minutes before I am even called back. She then tells me, pointing to one wall saying that there is another patient next door who has a kidney stone and she has to have surgery now - why don't I go over there and tell that patient that my problems are much more important than her pain. I said that was rude and I wasn't saying that nor could I believe she is talking to me this way. She said she was going to leave the room and I better decide what I am going to do. She walked out and I was in tears. I had never been spoken to or yelled at by a stranger & doctor. I felt berated, ridiculed and humiliated. She came in soon after and I was still in my clothes. She told me again to pull my pants down and to get on the table. I said if the patient next door was in need of surgery, then we should defiantly reschedule. She said she got another nurse to take care of her and if I don't do this exam now - that she would write down in my file I refused. In tears I complied. I cried while she was out and when she came back. She ignored my tears and acted as if nothing happen. No rush in the exam. She pinched me and poked me, saying it was apart of the test. The pinches seemed to be a bit over done. I wondered if she was taking revenge for me speaking up. As the exam was going on - on two different occasions someone knocked on the door and she told them to come in. My bare bottom was exposed to them and to the hallway! I was embarrassed and humiliated.

Dr. Hall done the surgery on my son when he was a baby. She was wonderful with him, and my family. She was caring, attentive, and went over everything with us. After his surgery, she still showed the same support and dedication to my son. I can never thank her enough for everything she did.

Dr. Hall is a wonderful physician. She is extremely professional and technically competent but also is personally engaged in the well being of her patients. I feel confident when I go to her for care, because I trust her judgement and skills and appreciate how she allows me to participate in my care plan.

Not only do I blame the Dr. but her office staff is not qualified, they are task oriented but do not have needed assessment skils, Urology is a soecialty field that requires top level nurses. As a bladder cancer pt. I find it way below nursing standerds to go to that dirty office and the LPNs there don't even do basic nursing protocol such as taking vital signs, their assessment is (how are you feeling) you wont see stethescopes there not even a thermometer, the bladder cancer treatments make you ill, thats why they need to have office notes, they don;t ask any questions or take any vital signs it is soo sad that they don;t care. I went for my every 3 month cysoscopy and they didn't even have the stirups on the table, said they didn't work so at 74 with a degenerative arthritis I had to lay on that table and hold my legs not only while waiting for the dr. but during the procedure about 30 mins. today my back and hips are painful I wish I had gotten a second opinion. While my cancer was taken care of through the surgery ,bladder cancer had a tendancy to return so with my suoerficial cancer I took the BCG got sick, took Interferon had no appitite mouth sores weight loss, tried to talk to the nurse she said I couldn't be having a reaction as it had been 6 weeks since last tx. she didn't take into account how many tx. I had all along having reactions nor did she consider that I had been on prednisone for 9 years, even the Dr. said when I asked her what effect would the prednisone have on the tx. she said SHE DIDN'T KNOW, Dr. Hall has no bedside manner and she doesn't know that she is basically running a Geriatric clinic and needs to gear how they do things to the older persons medical care,as a retired nurse I am not stupid I worked in a hospital to gain patient skills, and assessment skills I know when things are bad, and this is just half of the story. you won't get many correct rateings because the only ones rating her are the few younger one as a lot of older folk don't have computor skills. When I once again told her about my mouth pain she referenced (FOOT IN MOUTH DISEASE) dosen't she read the flyers that come with the rx.? or was she trying to be amusing? she was niether, I am stuck with her, in our area the pickings are small, though there are male dr. in that practice with her, they still have the no nothing LPNs working for them, I have nothing against LPNs it's just with their speciality their should be a nurse practisioner or physcians asst. guess they are just too cheap.
