I have been a patient of Dr. Sunil Joseph for more than ten years. He is the ultimate professional. He has successfully treated me throughout my time as his patient. He listens to input, takes notes, and provides sound and practical advice. He is an outstanding doctor.

Had my first colonoscopy with Dr. Joselph — a year after being diagnosed with stage I colon cancer. As such, I was very nervous going in to the procedure/test. Dr. Joseph, the nurses, and the anesthesiologist (Dr. Olga) were: very professional, had exception bedside manner, and gave me the results soon after I woke up. There was not one hiccup during the procedure.

Dr. Joseph is one of the best physicians I have ever encountered. He is prompt, a great listener, well versed in his specialty and very patient centered. He is the best physician communicator I have ever known. The comments of others speak to those unfortunate, but exceedingly rare complications from some of the delicate procedures that gastroenterologists must perform to accurately diagnose their patient's symptoms and or the doctor's concerns based on his/her medical training and experience.

How can I rate a doctor after almost dying in a hospital having a diagnosis of an esophagus perforation? This doctor reccommend me to do a procedure that was totally unnecessary. I trusted his knowledge and now I regret it! I ended going alone to the hospital, because even though he knew I was not doing well, never called emergency, and gave me reflux pills after the procedure (I NEVER have had reflux in my whole life!). Please be careful before choosing your doctor, after living that HORRIBLE experience, I'm still suffering the emotional shock it put thru....

don't know if doctor to blame or not because, like many people as told by another doctor who visited me in hospital, didn't know that I had diverticulosis. Same doctor said that the risk is 1 in 1700 of failed colonoscopies. Emergency surgery was performed and a big unexpected expense. I was having no problems prior to procedure other than hemroids that were a result of giving birth. he offered to follow-up with me but for obvious reasons i chose not to. Did I mention my hospital time was over the new years?
