Dr. Sunil Kumar Reddy Thummala, MD

Was given a wrong diagnosis was tortured with prescribed injections and medication that left me with permanent hearing loss and facial tics.

Was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and was painfully medicated for two years until I couldn't take the pain any longer. Stopped the medication my pain mostly went away and New symptoms left. Found out the real diagnose was an autoimmune response to a medical device I had implanted. Had the device removed all original symptoms and pain gone. Just left with facial twitches from a medication side effect that he put me on.

Dr. Thummala and his team have helped me with my Mysthenia Gravis over the past 5 years. I look to him for advice for my MG and I always ask him about other problems I have. I trust him over any of my other doctors. He is so intelligent and knows so much about my condition. His staff is awesome.

I was a little skeptical when i first made appointment with his office. He certainly is the most compassionate doctor i have met so far. He listened calmly and explained his rationale for treatment. Emphasized i need to focus on treating cause not just symptom alone which apparently i was doing. No one explained like him. He is a very good teacher indeed. I am glad i went to him.

Best migraine doctor i have seen. He talks fast but understandable. I have to ask him to repeat few times. He smiled and repeated. I know lot about about migraine as i read a lot. I can that he is up to date. I was looking for new CGRP med.

Great Doctor, smart, pleasant, knowledgeable would have given him 5 stars but I have to tell anyone considering Dr. Thummala That if you ever need his help with getting dis-ability then you are out of luck. He absolutely does not want to do anything he can not bill to insurance/patient and will not back you up by filling paperwork for dis-ability. Other than that, great Doc. I had a very critical form that needed filling out and he absolutely would not do it. Had a very negative effect on my disability claim

Talks somewhat soft but very knowledgeable. Learned more about my condition than what my 2 other previous neurologists told me in the last 10 yrs. He says whenever I goto doctors I should ask many questions.

Seen this doc a few times so far. He did a lot of tests but worth it is knowing my spinal fluid pressure is not the cause of my headaches and just my electrical channels in brain. Started botox a few weeks ago. Omg, it is awesome. No headaches since botox injection. God bless Dr.T. I have seen few other neurologists before but he is the best in Frisco area.

Best headache doctor. Wait time was a bit longer but well worth it. Truly a compassionate doctor. I saw one other neurologist in the area who showed no respect to patients. I can easily say Dr.T is the best. Now he is my favorite doctor. Headaches are far better after a long time. I took few visits to figure out correct treatment.

I generally don't waste my time writing reviews. I felt I have some obligation here to review this doctor to help others in my situation. There are many neurologists in my area but Dr.Thummala is special. He spent time to educate me and my family regarding my MS not just giving a medication to take. He made a stressful situation easy to handle. First time I felt a doctor truly cares about a patient. I heard similar feedback from my friend who sees him for headache. I now respect doctors.

Waited little longer than expected but worth it. I was seeing another neurologist for 10 yrs. I used to go there get pills and that neurologist never seemed to be interested in me as a patient. On first visit to Dr.Thummala I learned more about my seizures than what I know in last 10 yrs. Very knowledgeable young doctor. Would recommend without any hesitation.

Agree with other reviewers, Dr.Thummala is the best doctor I have seen so far. He listened to me without rushing to conclusions. He has such a cheerful and calm accent that made me very relaxed. My MRI was abnormal and my so PCP asked me to see him. Glad I saw him.

Very busy neurologist. He is smart and very logical in explaining my abnormal brain scan. He did a thorough exam and said he does treat test but patient as my exam was entirely normal. He gave me a list of things to watch and let him know. Rare to see such doctors now a days. He seems to have many offices. I saw him at Frisco office.

Best headache neurologist in this area. Went to see this doctor at the recommendation of my colleague. He not only cut down number of pills I take now but also made my headache control far far better. Nerve block in the neck worked like a magic in just minutes. I am scared of injections. He sprayed some coolant like thing to numb skin and then injected medicine. Didn't feel a pain. Felt strange, never seen that before. Been having headaches for years . My family doctor and other neurologist kept on adding pills and so I decided to go to him. I am glad I found him.

This review for my headache botox treatment at Frisco office. His business card only shows Frisco and Paris office. So I don't know if he has any office in Bonham., unlike what is shown on this website. Frisco office is well decorated giving peaceful atmosphere for a headache patient like me. Office seemed to smell like lavender. . I liked that small waterfall. Staff is very courteous. Had procedure done in 15 min and back to my work in an hour. Headaches have improved after about 2 weeks. Doctor said it takes a few sessions to see full improvement though.

He treats my headaches. Botox for migraine working great. Best of all I pay zero.

accurately diagnosed my symptoms as some type of seizures. now i am on medication and free of symptoms. thanks to my friend who recommended this doctor.

Now I am off hydrocodone that was given to me by my previous neurologist for migraines. I am so happy that I can now live headache free for many weeks without any pill.
