Not a long wait, went over all my results from tests, friendly staff

Dr Surya Rao is the best. His entire team is the best there is. Not sure how bad reviews of other doctors and practices make it into Dr Rao's reviews, but they should not affect your seeking care from Dr Surya Rao!

I am completely satisfied with Dr. Surya Rao. He made himself available after my catherization and made the decision to send me on the hospital by ambulance so I could have emergency triple by-pass surgery the next morning. I believe his actions saved my life.

Dr Rao was friendly, and listened to my concerns. His explanation to his recommendation of stress test and loop monitor were concise. I am very happy and confident with being under his care.

Dr Rao is such a great Doctor. He is very personable and easy to talk to and he is genuinely concerned with your health. He takes the time to go over everything with you.

I am alive and well in WV little thanks to you and your staff. I say “little “ because your initial actions led to a loop recorder implant and eventual discovery of my heart stopping on at least 2 occasions, who knows how many times this may have happened in reality,since poor communication between you,staff and patients seems to be a problem. My first encounter with a Cardiologist in WV and my presenting the Dr. with a copy of a loop recorder printout showing an 11 second heart stoppage an Electrocardiogram being done I was told I had a 3rd degree “heart block”. He also said “I wish l had met you yesterday “.The Dr. then proceeded to immediately admit me the hospital for a subsequent pacemaker implant. Dr Rau you had little to no personality no communication skills and apparently no leadership skills either. What is worse the Hypocratic Oath is something you do not understand! My wife also was lucky to recover from wrist heartcath you performed. Mr Rau your arrogance is only exceeded by your incompetence. Tom Spruill

You might as well plan on having heart failure and dying because you will never get through to this office. My friend's mother recently had surgery... the doctor did not even confer with her before or after surgery, and is trying to get through for a follow-up appointment... you would have better service at Walmart's customer service line! Do your heart a favor and look beyond this heart group.

Doesn't care, doesn't follow up... Made patient wait 2 weeks for an emergency!

Questions are concise and care is well considered. Dr. Rao, and his brother, are a good team providing complete care. Personal involvment with care and testing given. Excellent bedside manner.

A new patient of Dr. Rao... moving here from Connecticut. I was pleased to find the doctor and office staff sympathetic and laud their professional evaluation of current issues and past medical history.

I was very nervous to be seeing the cardiologist. I rarely go to any doctor and I didn't want to be there. Dr. Rao put me at ease- and his office staff also helped me to feel comfortable.
