Dr. Sushil Mitter Sethi, MD

My husband was on Workers comp and had to see this medical person ( I cant even say he is a doctor) to get evaluated before going back to work. When I called this person office the medical person himself answered the phone and used horrible language when I asked questions the office itself did not even look like a medical facility. I called workers comp to report him they did not seem to care as long as he would put my husband back to work. Shame on him and shame or workers com for using him I would not even give him one star but there is nothing below that

Do not believe anything this man says

This so called physician is now practicing in Oregon. I was sent to him for an independent medical evaluation since being on long term disability for multiple sclerosis. I can not believe this man is an actual physician as he attempted to listen to my heart and lungs with the stethoscope on my stomach. He has absolutely no knowledge of MS or neurology for that matter. He constantly interrupted me to the point I never fully got to answer a question. He lied in his report. He stated several times he was not employed by the insurance company who sent me there. Give me a break. Everyone knows insurance companies send employees to the person they can pay off to deem the worker "cured." Wonder why he left Ohio and came to Oregon???? If he determines you are healed file and appeal then sue your disability company.

I fully agree with EVERY review. I was a long time employee of his, even relocated to work for him and I witnessed this bedside manor or lack there of frequently. After years of working for him he had his wife take me to lunch and lie to me and say they would nolobger be working in this office and gave me one week's severance pay after YEARS of loyal duty and I treated his patients better than he did. Totally agree shouldnt be in practice. The morning my grandmother passed away he was mad at me for wanting to leave to go be at her bedside with her when she passed and he knew that she helped raise me. Screw him. Totally agree

I have never been to such a horrible, rude doctor. While I waited to see him, he was SCREAMING at his staff and I could hear that at least one (or more) were crying. I felt so bad for them. A teary-eyed assistant who later helped me seemed very nice. But Dr. Sethi was OBNOXIOUS. Each time he'd ask me a question, when I would start to answer, he'd cut me off. He didn't hear a word I said. How can he know what's wrong then? He just seemed to have the attitude that I was Just Fine and was only Wasting His Precious Time. Well, I'm NOT fine, if I was, I sure wouldn't go to a doctor, let alone him! NEVER AGAIN will I go to that doctor. He did nothing for me, other than make me feel even worse by the time I left his office than when I arrived there.

Absolute worst doctor I've ever been to this appointment was made by my employer for a second appointment and the doctor made up his mind before I arrived ... Very disappointed in my care and his bedside manner.

1 star is high - should be zero. He said that someone who has been determined to be disabled multiple times by several others - has nothing wrong and should go back to work!

I have never seen this "Dr" (I live in NY). My case was referred to him for job disability. I've had 3 thyroid cancer surgeries and the last one over 4 years ago leaving me with permanent nerve damage. I have also developed fibromyalgia. This "Dr" told my pain management/neurologist Dr that he has done many, many thyroid surgeries and had never seen one who had such a degree of pain. And because he's never heard of this, I must be making this up!!! He also states that my Dr told him he referred me to another Dr about having MEDIAN nerve branches to be burnt or injected to stop pain. Maybe if he knew what he was talking about he would know MEDIAN would be for something for carpal tunnel, not MEDIAL for neck! And my Dr has never said anything about burning anything! This guy is a complete hack!!

If this man is supposed to be a doctor then im a rocket scientist.He has no ethics what so ever.During my exam,he downgraded my back surgeon.Asked stupid questions not much pertaining to me.I know how workers comp works and I know how companies don't want to take responsibility for injuries. But to send people to a doctor(ha..ha) like this is a crock of s...! Might as well have me mail an exam in because everyone will know their fate when leaving.

Very poor service. You have to pay before any service is offered. It seems he is not qualified as a doctor. The medical tools he uses are poor. Professional cheater.

Worst doctor I have ever seen he screamed at me along with other patients and told me I was misdiagnosed by Cleveland clinic and my other 6 specialist he is a total joke!

Terrible doctor does not use medical fact is a slimeball

This man is totally slimball. I have a recurrent herniation at L5-S1 and was sent to him for a disability eval. I have numbness and pain down both legs and i ise a cane due to this for stability as well as ease of pressire on my legs. Well he walks it first thing takes my cane and sets it across the room from me. Then he starts asking tons of questions, which i understand is the correct process but this man tried to coach me into a response unbecoming to my case, to say it best. Then he proceeds to tell my that i do not have ptsd, which i was diagnosed with recently over some seriously bad thing that happened to me thru my entire childhood from age 1 day to 18 when i could finally get away. Well without asking what happened he told me " if noone went to jail then it must not have happened" . I was furious at this point. He wouldnt let me get an entire sentence out the entire time, then says "it is a rough and bad childhood that makes good americans" i just stopped talking at this point. He procedes with the physical exam which is fine except he took my cane which i use fully to get to a standing position and when i reach my hand out for help he turns around. Proceeds to jave me do the walk on tippytoes and then heels and he isnt even watching me. Then has me bend all ways without measuring anything. But the whole time he is saying numbers to the nurse. Is he such a genius he can read angles with pinpoint accuracy, i dont think so. I will be calling social security board asking for another eval with a different doctor and im gonna find out how to report his actions to the medical board. This is a horrible and racist man.

I was sent to this doctor, and I use this title loosely, for a social security exam. I had a lung test for my asthma (asthmatic 36 yrs) that looked like a breathalyzer test, very low budget compared to my REAL Pulmonary Doctor. The certificates on the wall had another doctors name on them NOT this guys name. I had to sign a paper stating I had NO hidden RECORDING DEVICES before he would see me. That was a huge tell that this was SHAM. When I was taken into the room he and a nurse entered the room he told the nurse to leave (I am a female) door was closed. The first thing he said to me was "Tell me why it is you feel you don't have to go to work when everybody else does?" WOW. Then he started to ask questions one right after another and he did not allow me to answer them. To be honest he don't care what my answers are. I have serious foot and ankle problems, have had surgeries on both, tendons repaired and replaced. I have neuropathy in both feet. His manor of checking my feet was to have me turn my head to the left then to the right. He used a measuring tape around my lower legs but it was twisted and he didn't bother to look at it. So I measured them when I got home to document it because my legs, ankles and feet swell horrible. He told me to pray to God to be healed. Now I know that praying is not bad advise but this is not his place to ignore my physical problems as they stared him in the face then tell me to pray. I reported him to Social Security and a few others. My advise. Use you cell phones to take pictures of all the forms you have to sign and fill out to see this "Quack" this is the medical term. And if you really want to get his attention act as if you are speaking into your button or your purse "did you hear that" or "did you see that" it wont hurt your comp case or whatever because this man is going to fail you even if you came to him bleeding with your arm severed hanging by one tendon he will refuse to see what is wrong, after all the mans got to make a living. The nurse told me he was retired. I give this guy MINUS 10 stars but you have to give a rating to post your WARNINGS about this horrible person.

I am a respectable woman and have been employed all of my life. Seven years ago, I had a deep vein thrombosis in my leg which has caused me terrible pain and swelling that gets worse year afer year to the point I can't sit, stand, squat or kneel. I went to see Dr. Sethi as arranged by the state to determine eligibility for disability. My visit was a nightmare. His staff was obnoxiously rude, slamming windows and doors, refusing eye contact and rushing through the initial paperwork stating it didn't really matter. When Dr. Sethi came into the room, I fully expected him to ask questions about my leg and to examine it. He had me walk around the room on my tiptoes, which I couldn't do properly, had me touch my nose with my fingers, and checked my eyes. He was incredibly rude the entire time, scoffing at my answers and told me that he was an expert on blood clots and that I and my doctor had no idea what we were talking about. He also asked me how I paid my doctor bills without insurance and how much I paid my doctor out of pocket per visit. When he measured my bad leg, which was clearly swollen, red and painful, he pulled the tape measure as hard as he could to try to make it match the size of the other leg, causing me much pain. He announced that leg was only one inch bigger than my good leg and it shouldn't even hurt. When I got home, my husband measured and found a four-and-a-half inch difference. Besides his fraudulent behavoir, he acted as if I were stupid and dirty. He absolutely freaked out when my bare feet slipped off the paper and touched his examination table. I would never recommend anyone see this doctor. I'm sure he's being paid to have claims denied, which is sad. If I get sent back to him, I will refuse. I have never felt so humiliated in my life and cried the whole way home. I never in a million years thought I would file for disability. Just because I now have something wrong with me does not mean I should be treated like this. Shame on Dr. Sethi and shame on the state of Ohio for paying his salary. I hated even giving him one star on anything - there should be black holes available as a choice.

This is not a doctor that I would take my dog to, uses no instruments to measure anything, Is very rude and might as well have called me a liar. Went for workers comp. For my shoulder, had me doing the heel toe test and lay on the bed and raise my legs ,bend over, I asked what the heck that had to with my shoulder. Tried to tell me that a nursing home wouldn't have hired me if I can't raise my left arm, Never told him I worked in a nursing home. Told him so too. He is the worse of the worse, and I would never recommend him to anyone. This a Dr. that companies hire when you file a workers comp claim because they know he will lie on their reports for them, and I know that for a fact because this is the second injury that he has seen me for, But this time I'm letting my lawyers know about all of the complaints I have read about him and do think I'll let Workers Comp know also. And if there is anyone that is filing a complaint on him I sure would like to know so I can be a witness.

This guy needs his license pulled for his inconsistancies and his dealings with compensation companies. The mere mention of his name to any compensation attorney brings about strong opinions of his reputation as a doctor who is blatantly 'in bed' with compensation insurance companies. It's disgusting that this man is even allowed to get away with his so-called expert opinion time and time again for the almighty dollar.

Reports stated meds, activities, patient statements which weren't true. Opinions were issued on activities which didn't occur.

I'd love to see this Dr? do his daily duties with the same amount of tremors he refered to mine as being slight minimal when I meet so many people who ask me if i have parkensens when they see just how bad my body and limbs shake.Not only do i feel he closed his eyes to that but also was in such a hurry to get done and to the next exam room to rush thru another one. I couldnt even state all the physical problems I have going on. I guess he dont live in my world and could care less.
