Dr. Suzanne Frasca, DO

I have been a patient at Healthy Woman for almost 2 decades and am currently looking for a new OBGYN after having to deal with this Dr. I met with her a few times during my pregnancy (my first) and when I asked her a question about a medication she asked "Well did you look at the pregnancy packet?" instead of just answering my question and making me feel like I was inconveniencing her with my question. She was not rude every time, but you never know what personality you are going to get. She also had me go in for an induction, when no other doctor in the practice said it was necessary. Her answer when I questioned it was "You're geriatric and obese." I had just turned 35. I am not an overly sensitive person at all, but this doctor really rubs me the wrong way.

I had Dr Frasca years back when she was in Beth Israel Union Square NY. She is honest, direct to the point and treated me with care. I have history of breast cancer that run in my family. She followed up every growth and removed when necessary. I felt bad that she moved to NJ.

I see the comments, (which I think is an unfair representation of Dr. Frasca. Yes, she is quick (efficient), she gets to the point quickly. I do not need my doctor to be warm and fuzzy, I need a doctor who is intelligent, experienced, confident and decisive. When I had a severe migraine attack during my appointment with her, she extraordinarily caring, and genuinely concerned. She is appropriate per case basis. Great, and qualified Doctor

Dr. Frasca is the best! She saw me through both my pregnancies and was a godsend for the second pregnancy. Because I had a growth on my ovary with my second pregnancy, she ensured that all the right parties were involved in case this was cancer. She did everything in her power to ensure that I would have a natural birth and that my son would not have to be delivered early. Later she performed my surgery. It was a trying 11months and I couldn't have done it without her. She may not be the warmest and she may be quick (efficient) but she is a fabulous doctor. At the end she did give me a big hug when the results came in that it was not cancer. Love her and am following her to NJ.

I had an abnormal pap smear recently and Dr. Frasca performed my biopsy. She told me after the biopsy to make an appointment for a week after and they would have my test results. I went back in today (8 days after the biopsy), and she was half an hour late to my appointment. She was incredibly rude and disrespectful to me. As soon as she walked in, she said that I made my appointment too early and that they did not have my test results back yet. I am always a very understanding patient, but her demeanor was quite rude. I very politely and in a light manner said "oh that's okay, but someone could have called me to tell me that so I didn't have to come in!" She was immediately defensive and said that it wasn't her fault, she had no way of knowing, and I should not have made my appointment so early (even though SHE was the one who told me to come in after a week, which I did). She told me that labcorp wouldn't have my results so soon because its was a non-emergent test. Overall, she was condescending, rude, and short with me. I understand that this is a. routine procedure, but I am still a patient that had to get a biopsy done and I have been worried sick for the past 2 weeks over this, and she was speaking to me as if the incident was my fault and as if I was being ridiculous for pointing out that someone could have told me that my appointment today was unnecessary.

Impatient. Rude. Looks to getting you in and out of the appointment as quick as possible. Poor people skills

Certainly not the best. Quite rude, she visit me very fast, my visit last less than 5 minutes. She was kind of upset because my delivery last about 3 hour. My obstetrician was another woman but she told me any of the obstetrician could visit me and at the end I was charged $12,380.00 for a delivery (natural birth). My insurance charged me $2660 because she was not in my network but when I gave birth to my baby I didn't have a choice of doctor, she was the only available. I think more than 12k is a lot of money for 3 hr of work

This doctor won't spent time on you, won't listen to you, very inpatient.

I finally found Dr. Frasca in my 5th month of pregnancy. Our visits were always quite short since I had a fairly textbook pregnancy. She has a lot of patients and is very busy, but I had my questions ready and she always answered them. The day of my daughter's birth, my husband and I trusted her to make all the right decisions for us. I was so close to getting rolled in for a c-section, finally, but she believed in us and I was able to have a natural birth. We couldn't be happier.

I think Dr. Frasca is a very capable doctor. However, I will agree that her manner is quite brusque. I don't think she means to be rude or insensitive, but it definitely comes across that way. I feel rushed and a bit intimidated by her, and I will agree with some of the other posters that she isn't the most sensitive when it comes to requests for pain relief.

I went to Dr. Frasca last year, but now have decided to let people know how I felt after seeing her. She is rude. Rushes you, doesn't show much concern if you have any, and after I left the room, I thought of a question I forgot to ask while on the table and when I approached her while she was doing nothing in the hallway, she rolled her eyes and said something to the effect of "You need to hurry up, I'm very busy." Seriously? Rolling your eyes at a clearly nervous patient? I'd hate to see how she is delivering a baby, she'd probably yell at you like a high school football coach.

I truly love Dr. Frasca. I've been seeing her since 2004. She is very understanding, kind and patient. She never makes me feel uncomfortable and is always caring.I had my first child under her care and was very pleased and so was my entire family. She checked up on me before and after my c-section (she avoided the option of c-section but after 42 weeks it was our only option after being induced). I truly would recommend her to any of my close friends.I plan on staying with her till her retirement.Niv

Dr. Frasca was covering for my usual doctor. What a horrible experience. I had been experiencing recovering yeast infection type symptoms for several months. Before she even examined me she said it sounded like some type of sclerosis, a skin condition on my genitals that has no cure, just treatment. She then convinced me that I needed to have a biopsy immediately. I freaked out over the next 2 weeks while waiting for my results and reading about this dreadful condition. All the while though, sort of doubting, because I felt that my condition was hormonal. When I went in for my follow up she seemed disappointed that the sclerosis results were negative. She was about to send me on my way when I asked her about the regular pap results.She didn't even read her notes. After getting the results from the office staff, with her head down, she said it was positive for bacteria, gave me a prescription and walked out the door. Maybe she is fine for ob, but NOT for gyn care.

ugh. I have actually cried after visiting her a couple of times. After a routine pap, I received a voice mail from a nurse telling me that I had to have a colposcopy and what date it was scheduled for, with no further information. I freaked out, and when I came in for the procedure, I insisted on seeing the dr before i put on a gown and hopped into the stirrups. She was not comforting and not clear about the procedure, and when I eventually had it done a few weeks later, there were two assistants and somehow all of the instruments weren't in the room. She put a tray of instruments down ON me, and then she and the two nurses started going in an out of the door. It was like the Keystone cops, only with my lady parts in the breeze. She's been rude about my weight, and unconcerned with concerns i've raised about pain. I just found a new doctor. yuck yuck yuck.

Today was my first prenatal appt with Dr Frasca. She was so incredibly nice and she made me and my husband feel extremely comfortable. She was very clear and explained everything in a way we could understand. She did not rush us and answered all of our questions. I'm very happy with her!

she is very efficient and a great doctor. I was very pleased with her ability to diagnose my condition.

Dr. Frasca happened to be covering for my regular doctor for a follow-up pap smear appointment. She is not the type of good doctor who thinks and uses her own brain/people skills. She made me feel like a number and rushed me into having an invasive procedure without giving me the time to decide. There were many options I could have considered and she pressured me into choosing the most severe option. I am switching to a different practice all together because I don't want to risk this happening again. I highly recommend you consider choosing a different doctor.

I've seen Dr. Frasca for about 8 years now and I really like her. She's very matter of fact with a good bedside manner. The office on the other hand is way too busy and I usually end up waiting. You also need to book early for your annual because she fills up quick. I think she's worth the scheduling hassles and my advice is to just book your appoint for first thing in the day.
