Dr. Suzanne Mcleod Mcbride, MD

Dr. McBride is a very caring and knowledgeable Doctor. 1am disappointed that she is no longer my physician at Tge Community Clini.

Im discusted by her horrible bedside manner. She overtalks you and refuses to hear anything you have to say. I comented about my concerns and she was very short and nasty and insulting to me. I told her im not trying to be disrespectful and her response was" YOU ARE ACTUALLY " After i was shut in to a small waiting room for almost 2 hours waiting from my appt time and they kept closing the door when i would open it i was allready upset and my anxiety was high. She is a terrible dr. Dont go to this lady if you have other options. If you notice after almost every bad review one of her staff posts a 5 star rating praising her as a patient. See for yourself. Im done being nice about this and im filing a complaint with the Florida medical board also. You all can do the same if you didn't know.

Horrible doctor and horrible person. I told her personal health information that was difficult to share and at the next appointment she uses it against me to insult me. I walked out and told everyone I knew to stay away from the baptist health system. I was there at that appt to talk about chronic pain I was having but never got to it because she was too busy talking over me and being rude. After I left and severed the pcp relationship and I was on my own dealing with my issues and it took months before I was comfortable enough to see another physician. Turns out I have cancer, which was causing all of my symptoms. Had Dr. mcbride put aside her ego for two minutes it could have been detected sooner. Do not go to her.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. McBride...kind, thoughtful, considerate and very competent.

It will take you forever to see her , the wait it just to long . Especially when you have a medical concern .

Dr. McBride needs to work on her bedside manner. She's rude and condescending. She talks very fast, giving a lot of information at once that I can't always keep up. She rushes through appointments. I'm currently on the search for a new doctor. If only we could see who we wanted, versus who accepts our insurances.

Several of my family members are seen by Dr McBride, she is such a caring person. My husband passed away recently and she showed so much compassion during his illness. I have recommended her to several people and they also have been very satisfied with the care that they receive. I am very pleased with the care I receive from her and her staff.

I love my doctor she is very informative and she takes time to listen to me when I have a problem or concerns.

Dr McBride has always been professional, friendly and provides indebth explanation and information. I recommend her to anyone needing honest and professional care.

Dr. McBride is not just the rudest doctor I have ever encountered, she is the rudest person! She actually yells at you and threatens to drop you as a patient if you dare question anything she says, or if you don't want to follow her advice to the letter. She acts like you have no choice in your own medical care but must instead blindly follow her orders. Her behavior is so rude and so irrational that I actually have to wonder whether the woman is mentally stable. Seriously, there's something sick about her.

DK My experience with Dr. McBride is she is very Negative and when there are mistakes on scheduling she makes it your fault. I am 68 and have done so many positive things in my health: 4 years no alcohol and cigarettes..lost 27lbs..sent from tsking 3 ativans a day to 1/2 to 1. Have gotten thru deaths...surgeries and I am proud of myself. But her negstivity just knocks me down. After being a caretaker of my loved ones for 10 yrs....i am retired and by myself. I have enjoyed being a nite person..staying up and reading til 4am and rising at 12:30 to 1 am. I love it...but she wants me to see a psychiatrist!! I do take meds for depression and anxiety and im doing great. My fathers side had the depression issues...there isnt anything thst is dark in my past...no stories to tell. My sweet doggy i had for 17 yrs passed away and I was so sad..of course....that is a human feeling. She wanted me to go to therapy. Today she dropped me and it is a relief....she just made me feel incapable of anything. I hope my next Dr lets me live thru the normal ups and downs and lets me feel good about the positive things i have accomplished.

Example of rudeness: i had waited over an hour, to begin with. I had sunglasses with me; my purse was too small and I did not want to set them on an office surface, so I put them on. Her words:to me, a 65+ yr old woman: "Take off those sunglasses; you're not outside!" Arrogant, condescending, so rude! No one has EVER been that rude to me in 65+ years!!! I was stunned.

I changed my doctor to Dr. McBride after having my previous docter constantly ask me what I was in his office for...? I find Dr. McBride to be not so concerned with what I am having to deal with as an obstruction(figurative) in my life. I want a doctor to talk "to" me not "at" me! I am looking for a new doctor which is why I am on this site...
