He was a very nice doctor and compassionate about his patients and work. I had a very successful and quick recovery from my procedure and would highly recommend him.

Got an appointment with Dr Smith the next day! He performed rotator cuff surgery on me about 7 years ago. I knew I wanted him to look at my knee when it started hurting. He assured me it was nothing serious, PT would fix me up. X ray confirmed no arthritis. ??

After being improperly treated on Maui I was referred to Dr. Smith. He immediately recognized I needed surgery and was able to schedule me quickly. Surgery was yesterday and today I have minimal soreness considering it was rotator cuff surgery and I am excited that after a year o will soon be able to use my arm fully again. Highly recommend especially for shoulder injury.

Dr. Smith is truly the best orthopedic surgeon on island! He performed rotator cuff cuff surgery on both of my shoulders 7 years apart. His experience as a surgeon put me at ease for both surgeries. His aftercare and suggestions for rehabilitation was on point for my situation. I’m so grateful that I was able to have him perform my surgery before he retires! Dr. Smith is obviously very experienced and he is very pleasant and easy to work with. I got two cortisone shots, one in each knee! Painless! Also, his office staff, Angelica, always has a smile on her face and is very efficient, taking care of every detail!

Visited due to recurring pain in my knee. Was able to get x-rays, diagnosis, and treatment options within a couple days of my initial call to make an appointment.

Dr. Smith has added great, useful info to my accumulated knowledge of how my and other bodies work, for example, using my knees when landing from a jump will prevent knee injury and damage. He also informs me about the human ageing process when I ask him about things like the wrinkles on my body. I so appreciate Dr. Smith as a source of valuable information in science.
