Dr. Taj H Khan, DO

Received a bill by mail and was charged twice for a "one time co-pay. I went personally to the Rahway office to resolve the billing error, but was met with unclarity and unprofessionalism. I was scheduled for a follow up visit but walked away when I was not helped. BEWARE & review your invoices from this office and Doctor closely.

I went to doctor Khan to have a medium sized birthmark removed and initially requested it be done via Laser. Dr Khan pushed me into having it surgically removed and I agreed mentioning it would take two sessions to complete. After the second surgery I was happy with the results and there was minimal scarring. Dr Khan then pushed me to do a third surgery *probably to benefit his pockest* and since the results were great up to this point I did not decline. This is where things went bad. Dr Khan was unable to stitch the wound back together, and the stitches came out only ~1 hour after the surgery. When I came back for my checkup Khan insisted it was because "I was lifting weights" which I was not, and even went on to say things like "you dont have to lie to me I know your working out". He then charged me another 300$ to put stitches back in even though he couldnt stitch it back together the first time and he states "check ups are free". Then, behold the same thing happened and the stitches popped out again within a day. At this point I stopped going to Dr Khan because I had already spent so much money and couldnt afford to spend 600$ every 2 weeks as an 18 year old making 8.50$/hr I eventually went back to Dr Khan in 2020 with the wound still open since it had not healed in this time, and he insisted we cauterize the wound. Every time I went to him he had a different plan in mind, and would say hes only going to cauterize the open wound area, but then he would just cauterize anything and everything around it. I went to him for about ~10 sessions of this with pretty much 0 results besides begin ~5k in debt and then he tells me hes going to lower the price and acts like hes doing me a big favor. ***Yes lower the price after you have already taken 5 thousand dollars from me, caused a wound that is larger than what I originally came in to have removed, and consistently leaks blood.*** This guy then proceeds to tell me I need to do a skin graft to get it healed. ***Probably the most expensive surgery there is.... why? Well read the other reviews on his yelp where reviews are not removed by Google and you cant pay to have these removed. Theres a reason he has 3.5 stars on yelp which doesnt even include the many "unconfirmed" 1 star reviews which do not factor into you rating*** End result: -5000$, Look like I survived a motorcycle accident, thanks Dr Khan

My experience with D. Khan has been outstanding. I had minimal discomfort from surgery and Dr. Khan has made the process easy. Found him to be extremely professional while also kind and understanding.

Dr. Khan performed cataract surgery using crystal lenses with excellent results.

Dr. Khan recently removed an eye stye inside my eyelid. He did a fantastic job and even by the next day, you could hardly tell I had anything done. He's very warm, compassionate, friendly and skilled. I hardly had to wait at both visits too.

I have been a patient of Dr. Khan for quite sometime. He is an excellent doctor and very professional , as well as his staff at Rahway clinic. He also performed several surgery on me skillfully.

I saw Dr. Khan following retinal detachment surgery and when I was was having cornea problems in the other eye. He provided excellent care, always took as much time with me as I needed, and worked with specialists to get my vision, as it currently is, the best it can be. The staff at his location is excellent, pleasant and courteous. I'd highly recommend.

I had been suffering for months, excruciating migraines, severe eye pain, insomnia, vertigo, loss of balance, nausea, vomiting, etc. I had been sent to a variety of physicians who were unable to diagnose my health issue. The neurologist sent me for a visual field test, before my scheduled lumbar puncture. Dr. Khan was very professional. His staff did all the appropriate tests. Upon his exam of my eyes he quickly diagnosed my problem. Angle-closure glaucoma. He performed emergency eye laser surgery immediatley on my right eye. I was very nervous, but his knowledge, confidence, and expertise put me at ease. That night was the first night I was able to sleep the whole night, no migraine. He followed up with my left eye a couple days later. I'm very pleased to say he saved me from possible permanent blindness. I see so clear now and can actually say I feel healthy and back to myself again. All my other tests were cancelled, he was able to diagnose and treat me. Thank you so much Dr. Khan!!!
