Dr. Tammy Goldberg Pruse, DO

Referred by a close friend to Dr. Tammy Pruse. Completed extensive intake paperwork, appointment scheduled, arrived 20 minutes early, only to be told by the receptionist (yes, the receptionist) that Dr. Pruse would not see me and that she couldn't tell me the reason. When I asked to see Dr. Pruse I was told she was with a patient and could not be disturbed. In shock at this immediate situation I left shaking my head, UNBELIEVABLE! And, not surprisingly, no follow up to the whole incident. I would have given this Dr. Pruse, and her staff, a negative rating lower than one star, if it were available. I have NEVER had this happen before in my life.

Love Dr Pruse, she has been a Fantastic Dr. for all our family from my mother down to my grandchildren. She explains in a way that makes us understand and has been spot on with all our problems.

I have visited Dr. Pruse many times. She is a very personable person, easy to talk to. Her staff however, leaves much need in carrying out instructions. I asked many times to have a referral to my pain management be extended, but l have missed 2 appointments now because the referral was not present. I was not able to get the injections l needed for my pain. That is more than stressing and unacceptable.

I have found my new primary care physician.New patient appointment was extremely thorough. Very pleased with the experience.

Dr Pruse is awesome. She listens to your needs and doesn't rush you.

As for spending time with you, you have the feeling that there are no other patients for the day. You feel as you are the only one for the day.

I recently changed primary care physicans from Dr. Pruse to another Dr. I walked out of her office 2 years later, with the same problems I walked in there with. Remember people, you pay for your doctors services. Check them out, with word of mouth, reviews ie.... etc. Buyer beware with this Dr. and her office staff!

She is very thorough. I also really appreciate the personal touch. I am not a person who likes to go to the doctor but she is very easy to talk to. She follows up with test results and her office staff is just as good as she is.

Very nice and caring. Gave iron pills, new from pharmacutical rep and gave inhaler for sinus's and almost killed me. Went to pharmacy and the iron pills printout said never take these iron pills with an inhaler. The results can be fatal. Apparently she never read this. Iron pills you only take once a day. Will call with a minor thing and amost scare you to death. She is caring and nice. She truely cares about people. I believe that, but this one thing could have killed me. As with any doctor they are not God and they are "practicing medicine", so do your own research. Many people like her and I do too, but we should do our own medicine research. Docs aren't perfect. They make mistakes like we do.
