in 2013 i had a widow maker that messed me up in the head with panic attacks and deep depression i am in a better place now thanks to him still cant be around people because of panic attacks but im functioning better now than i was in 2013 i trust him 100%

What is the deal with these ignorant people? Dr. Bentley a pill pusher? The reason Walker County has a Drug problem? I think not. He is very careful and will not even write me refills without seeing me. I have been seeing him for over 20 years. You people have lost it. There is a big drug problem in Walker County, I do agree with that. 1. Have you been down Airport RD, between 5 A.M and 7 A.M? They are lined up for a mile to get their methadone. A money making way to give people drugs. 2. Have you been to the ER lately? You can tell them you DO NOT need pain meds and they insist you take them "JUST IN CASE" 3. A person that is on drugs wants to be on drugs. They will find the drug of their choice one way or the other, then THEY put in their hand, and THEY put in their mouth or needle or whatever it is you do with them and THEY swallow, inject, snort or whatever the correct term is. Now, yes I know there are doctors you can pay to write you a prescription for just about anything you want. You can pay them for a work excuse - anything. BUT it is most def not Dr. Bentley. In fact I can remember the name of the one doing it here in Walker County but I do know there was one here. People get a life!!!!!

I can not believe the comments I read accusing this doctor of over prescribing or being the cause of the counties pill problems which in itself is ridiculous. You would have to have more than 1 doctor to do that. When I see reviews like that? I know they are retaliating because they are the pill seekers that did not get what they wanted!!! Now he is very professional but very compassionate, something many psychiatrist these days lack. He doesn't make you feel rushed. Everyone is nice, the office is nice as well as the environment. I left feeling better after having him and his assistant listen to me..it was nice for a change after leaving a psych that was like a robot that stared into a computer and treated you like a number! I received no more medications than what I been on for the last 8 years because it is what works and no it is no high amounts of anything! I wasn't seeking pills but compassion and someone that listens..

Doctor Bentley is wonderful. Super helpful and compassionate. Willing to work with you to get the medication right and most importantly LISTENS to the patient when they explain what is wrong.

This pill pusher is not worth a comment. Should chang his name to Dr. Feelgood!!

ALL IAM GONNA SAY IS ONE OF THE WORST DOCTORS IN JASPER,ALABAMA! HMMM...WONDER WHATS WRONG WITH WALKER COUNTY NOW, MAYBE OVER PRESCRIBING???????

Dr. Bentley is known for over-prescribing meds to several people I know. He does not provide accurate diagnosis and does not monitor the dosages taken by patients. He continues to add more and more prescriptions until the patient cannot function normally. He shows no concern or compassion for his patients. He is a quack and should not be allowed to practice medicine! If you value your life, do NOT go to this man.

i was turned away when i was going through a crisis in my life and i had an appointment instead of being seen he told me he would never see me again but not by him by his secretary.
