After six consultations with other board certified surgeons I knew Dr. Lazzaro was right choice for me. His extensive medical background, industry knowledge and understanding of the gentle balance of both medical to aesthetics were the perfect blend for me. He was realistic, compassionate and forth coming with information that made my decisions easier. He shared his knowledge, past experiences and provided me his honest opinions about my situation and desired outcome. I found his medical knowledge superior to the other surgeons that I had consulted with and he took the longest amount of time explaining and answering my very detailed questions and concerns and continues to do so with each follow up appointment. I never once felt rushed during any of my interactions with him nor his staff. He was professional and continues to inquire about the progress of my recovery and has spoken to me personally on numerous occasions. He is concerned about my overall happiness of the results and has not reduced his level of care or concern since my procedure. As a researcher, planner and worrier by nature I did a TON of due diligence and analysis on procedures, expected outcomes, possible complications and doctors. I could not have made a better choice. I found my experience amazing and life changing. Highly recommend!

I had rhinoplasty and a revision rhinoplasty done by Dr. Lazzarro with absolutely horrible results. I have a huge bump on the side of my nose, it's insanely crooked, too long and too wide. How a surgeon with so many years of experience could mess something up this bad is beyond me. I will have to undergo another surgery with a new surgeon just to look normal again. He even admitted that I looked better in my "before" pictures. Malpractice x1000 !!!

Arrogant and uncaring

He became offended when I asked questions about the procedure and recovery. He only had one pic of the procedure and it was done 20 years ago

I chose Dr Lazaro after meeting with several other plastic surgeons. He made me feel very comfortable and explained what would be the results of the surgery. I had a chemical peel, fat injections, neck lift and lower face lift. The surgery took 6 hours ....2-3 hours longer than I was told to expect! The neck results are not what I expected nor what he told me to expect. Somehow the gland in my neck suddenly protrudes. The one side of my neck is a mess! It’s rippled & fat looking. I would’ve never dreamed I would pay that kind of money with these results. When I went in for my 1st year visit last week I showed him how bad it looked and he said I’m sorry I don’t think I can please you! Dismissed me...just like that!!!! It’s funny because his demeanor changed drastically from when he wanted my money compared to after it was all done and said. I am so disappointed I wished I would have paid a few $$$ more and went to a plastic surgeon that specializes in faces! I think his specialty is breast argumentation from everything that I have heard but he’s definitely not a good face plastic surgeon!!!

Dr. Lazzaro made me feel EXTREMELY comfortable and explained everything in detail. He was very kind and did an amazing job.

From the minute you call for an appointment, the staff at Aestique Shadyside makes you feel like you’re their only client! I’ve had many procedures with Maria over the years, and I’m always pleased with the outcome! I trust her opinion, whether it’s Botox or Juvederm or a new ZO product. The entire staff is professional and knowledgeable. The Medispa is beautiful. Truly a pampering experience~

I had a 9 am appointment on a Monday; drove 65 miles to get there. I asked my first question and he replied “I’m a physician, not a magician.” Then my next 2 questions were about pain control for a procedure known to be painful. He stood up and said perhaps I should go elsewhere and WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM. Had the nurse give me info about some second rate PS in Pittsburg to contact. Never in my life have I had a doctor walk out on me for asking questions. Arrogant little, rude little man. And his staff was not at all friendly. They seem to go through a lot of people there. So after 5 minutes of his stupid time, I was on my way home. My husband, who took the day off work to take me to the appointment, couldn’t beleive it. For these reasons, I will never return there. I need someone with empathy and compassion and understanding toward their patients. Not him.

From the age of 14 when i started to develop my breast i became self conscious of their size and the attention i was getting at such young age. For as long as i can remember my breast have always been a negative part of my life. From trying to find shirts and bathing suits that fit to having low self esteem. I'm not entirely sure why i waited so long to have this procedure. I honestly feel like a new person ~ it has completely changed my life. I feel confident again in my body. From the Consultation to my most recent follow-up, Dr. Lazzaro and staff have been amazing! Dr. Lazzaro genuinely cares about every aspect of your journey. Its the little things like taking a shower for the first time after surgery and seeing the results. It was the best feeling i have had in a long time. This was definitely one of the best decisions i have ever made and i can thank The staff enough!

I could not have asked for a better experience from Dr. Lazzaro and his staff. From my consultation, to pre-op/post-op and follow-up appointments, I was very well taken care of. I was extremely nervous as it was a surgery that required being put under, but the staff made me feel at ease. I even emailed the office multiple times with questions leading up to the surgery and they were always answered. I am a much more confident person now that I had this procedure done and would 100% recommend not only the procedure but Dr. Lazzaro!

Dr. Lazzaro is an amazing, gifted surgeon. Having a prior breast augmentation surgery several years ago with a different doctor, I went to Dr. Lazzaro seeking a revision. I originally had saline implants above the muscle, and he moved me to silicone and under the muscle. Before, I was not happy with my surgery and somewhat ashamed of my breasts. I expressed these concerns to Dr. Lazzaro, and he recommended the above changes to my implants. I could not be happier! I'm finally proud of my body, and love the work that he did. My only regret is that I did not go to him for my first implants! His care and dedication to his practice is amazing. Highly recommend!

I went to see Dr. Lazzaro about several months ago to have a rhinoplasty and chin augmentation performed. During my consultation with Dr. Lazzaro he really took his time explaining the procedure and letting me know what to expect. After my consultation I decided to have the surgery, and could not be anymore pleased with my results! Dr. Lazzaro transformed my large crooked nose into a beautiful strait nose with a cute feminine tip. Because of this surgery I am more confident and less anxious in social situations. I am more confident when talking to others and finally feel like I can try bolder styles when choosing makeup and clothes! Dr. Lazzaro exceded my expectations and has given me the beautiful nose that I've always dreamed of having!

The entire experience was AMAZING!!! From the receptionist to the nursing staff to Dr. Lazzaro - they were all wonderful people!!!! The nursing staff took amazing care of me from the prep period before surgery all the way through until the recovery process. All were so kind. Dr. Lazzaro is BRILLIANT and KIND! He truly cares about his patients and their needs - He took the time to talk to me, get to know me, and find out what I wanted my end results to be. AND he MADE IT HAPPEN!!!! I recently lost about 10 - 15 pounds and it appeared to have all been lost in my breasts. I looked like I had a lot of loose skin that needed "filled" back up. I explained to Dr. Lazzaro that I wanted to look like my "old self" - I didn't want to look fake. Well he delivered!!! He made me look just like I used to look - I look so natural and I feel NATURAL. I fit back into my old bras - I could not be happier! Not only did this experience make me feel better about myself physically but I feel better about myself emotionally as well. I feel like myself again, confident and content. Dr. Lazzaro did an amazing job and his kindness and compassion is something that I cannot speak high enough of. I will recommend Dr. Lazzaro to EVERYONE and if I need anything in the future I will be returning to him. THANK YOU DR. LAZZARO!!!!!!

Dr. Lazzaro is incredible. I had a breast augmentation with a lift. From the moment I met Dr. Lazzaro my nerves were put to ease. He was so patient and took so much time with me. He answered all my questions and never made me feel pressured or rushed. I could tell he genuinely cared and listened to everything I had to say. Dr. Lazzaro was amazing from the consult, to the day of the procedure, and through the post op visits. The entire staff at Aestique is the BEST. Everyone there is very knowledgeable and treats you with the utmost respect. I am beyond pleased with my results. At only 3 weeks post op, I already feel more confident. I had ocular fat transfer and under eye bags removed in July and could not be happier with the results. Dr Lazzaro is the best in the business. He is kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him for any procedure you are considering.

I had a breast augmentation in October of 2016. My results were better than I had ever imagined they could be. My recovery was a breeze. I had very minimal pain and discomfort.
