Dr. Theresa Ann Stroot, DO

I've been seeing Dr. Stroot since she basically started practicing. My Dr retired and suggested her. I'm thankful every time I see her for that. She's a very empathetic, caring, knowledgeable Dr. Has compassion for her patients. She's not like most who herd you through like a milk cow. She's authentic & truly wants to help With all honesty I wish I could see her for all that my eight Drs do. That's how much faith and trust I have in her or going the extra mile & finding out if she doesn't know; so that she can basically help you along. I've read that some of you are judging her by the help at the front desk. She's not responsible for them. She doesn't hire them. It seems most Drs have front desk people that really should have to take some sort of class on compassion or at least be a people person, but they don't. Eventually karma will catch up to them & that's how you need to look at it. But don't blame Dr Stroot for which she has no power over. Give her another chance if that's you. You'll be glad you did. She's extroadinary! In all honesty, how many Drs can you say that about? For me... Out of eight, she's the only. I'll say it again. She's a very kind, compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable Dr and has no problem going the extra mile for you. Thank you Dr Stroot for all you do!!

Have been a patient of Dr. Theresa Stroot for over 15 years, as well as my Mother and Wife. We have always been totally satisfied with her compassion, professionalism and degree of care. Recommend he for any age and condition, she will take care of you!

Have been receiving the medical care by Dr. Stroot for over 15 years, for my entire family. Dr. Stroot's Osteopathic degree provides a holistic approach to our medical care, beyond any MD physician we had previous treatment. Whether in the medical office or in the hospital she gives personal and medical care above the average.

Dr. Stroot has cared for my mother (until she reached 98 yrs), my wife and I for over 10 years and our care has been exceptional, using a holistic approach for total care. Practices the goal of Osteopathic Medicine, using the additional skills gained through the medical school and internships for a Dr. designation DO.

Love my doctor. She listens and we work together as a team to address my many medical issues.

Dr. Steoot is just what our family needed! We inherited her with one of our children and ahe has been great. She is firm but kind at the same time. No sugar coating with her. The staff is very caring and helpful, even on my worst days they seem to be even kinder!

Office is nice but staff is probably the rudest staff around, on top of that it took me three visits to attempt to clear up my cold for a month and didn't get better til' I made my way to Walgreens Health Clinic.

I and my family have been a patient of Dr. Stroot for a little over a year. Every visit with her, I actually look forward to and I don't like going to the doctor. She's very courteous and straight-forward. She doesn't seem rushed in the least and genuinely cares about her patients. Any questions I may have are discussed at length and with an honesty that is refreshing.

Amazing office and staff. Dr. Stroot is top notch. Spends time getting to know you and figuring out exactly what's going on..

Dr. Stroot is the primary physician for my mother (98 yrs), wife and myself; and we have experienced her practice in her office, hospital and nursing home. Our personal rating is "above average" from previous primary physicians and we are so thankful we found Dr. Theresa. In addition, during conversations with hospital and nursing home RN's and CNA's, plus EMT's, we have heard nothing but complimentary and above average comments regarding her care and services to her patients. And, as a PLUS, her Osteopathic Medicine training is quickly distinguishable from the "cattle call" M.D. family practices of our previous doctors, and more holistic and complete for analysis and treatment. We highly recommend Dr. Stroot to anyone not completely satisfied with the run-of-the-mill family practice of treat-the-symptom with medication and get you in and out of the office in the least amount of time, with very little compassion and interest in your health.

Any time I have been to visit Dr. Stroot has spent as much time as I needed with her to take care of my needs. She was always friendly, professional, and kept it real. She NEVER treated me like I was senseless about what was going with me and took feed back from me to help with the treatment.. The nurses were always nice and everyone makes it easy for me when I need to visit.

I have been of patient of Dr Stroot for several years. What I like about her is how she keeps everything in prospective she is very accurate when dealing with anyone. This to me is a plus...

I had faxed over my paperwork a week ago. When I had called, I got the impression that the doctor would quickly review my paperwork and someone would call me to set up my 1st appointment. (This doctor reviews your paperwork before setting up 1st appmt- kinda weird!) After one week, with no call, I had called and the nurse replied that my paperwork is in the "stack" (actual word used) of papers and has not been reviewed by Dr. Stroot:( I took this as a sign to not do business with a doctor who takes a week to look over paperwork. No telling how long it would take if I had a serious problem. So, doctor searching again. Sorry Dr. Stroot!

Dr. Theresa is professional, thorough, and attentive. She fully meets my wife's, my mother's (who is in a nursing facility in Southern Indiana)and my medical needs, in the office, hospital and nursing facility.We believe treatment by a Doctor of Osteopath is better than an M.D., and more holistic. Her staff is friendly and attentive, as well.

She is a good doctor but I think she could use a staff that is a little more professional.

Dr. Stroot has a great bedside manor... she seems to be just as real towards her nurses and staff (which for me is a huge plus growing up with a nurse for a mom and hearing her talk about how Dr's mistreat staff). Another biggie for me was that Dr. Stroot took as much time as **I** needed during my visit. I only grumble at the waiting time because I was late for work.. but while she was running behind she also spent needed time with her other patients.. so I'm not to disgruntled about it.

Excellent care, thorough and always follows up. Has great sense of humor.
