I have been getting treatment for neck , arm and shoulder pain for years. I have lately been in severe pain with arm weakness and limited mobility. Although my MRI shows issues at several levels, Dr. Cartwright walked me though each issue and based on my current symptoms has recommended the least invasive surgery. He is patient and compassionate and listens to everything I have to say. I like starting conservative knowing I can move to a fusion in the future if symptoms don’t clear up.

Dr. Cartwright was heaven sent. A friend recommended Dr. Cartwright, after my 75 year old mother was in so much pain after seeing a different surgeon on the Pasadena area with no relief after a year of weekly visits. Dr. Cartwright did everything he could to avoid surgery, but in the end surgery was the only option. It has been a year since her surgery and we have our mother back with the same energy as years ago. She cannot stop bragging about Dr. Cartwright, nor can we, her family. Thank you Dr. Cartwright!

I am very pleased with Dr. Cartwright, have seen him many times. He is so pleasant and friendly and will take time to discuss whatever I need to. For some unknown reason, the wait time has become very long (3 hours in lobby and then 1 hour in the exam room). I went to one of the other doctors there on a different date and had to wait about 2 1/2 hours in the lobby.

Dr. Cartwright performed extensive lumbar surgery on me w/o fusing. Other surgeons thought this not possible. I highly recommend.

The staff at Red Oak was pleasant and professional. After my surgery, I had to locate the xrays, films, and files from other doctors for follow-ups with the other doctors on the case. The Red Oak office record department was expecllent and the xray department horrible, my presurgery films have not been found as of this writting.

Very good surgeon with likable bedside manner. I did not feel rushed at my appointments. Only one appointment took over two hours, but it was at the Red Oaks location - I much prefer the Willowbrook location and staff. I would recommend this doctor.
