Dr. Thomas Arnold Chasse, MD

The first time that I went and seen him I had busted my eardrum he was not very warm at first I was trying to crack jokes with him but he finally came around and he's very funny Doctor I recommend him to anyone thank you Doctor chasse

I acknowledge that this Dr. is very intelligent but my very first visit with him went completely horrible. I felt he was not rude but came off very strong and felt that he was condescending about me and the choices made in the past that I had no control over. I left the office and told myself I would never go back and had waited nearly 2 months just to get into this office. I received a phone call 2 weeks after my visit letting me know he was no longer with the practice. I told them I was glad and explained my situation. I chose to go to a different ENT office and was so surprised at my first visit to be treated like a patient should be. I have never in my adult life experienced a Dr. this way. If I get billed for his visit I am going to protest it.

Rude and condescending. Asks questions but then doesn’t listen to the patient. He’s rough with pediatric patients and throws around his number of years of experience in a response to criticism. Run when a physician does this. He is in Peoria, IL on a short term contract. Go elsewhere!

The fee was high for the time he spent and then he told me to get a hearing test.

Professional all around.

Had serious bleeding after surgery. Called his office and told to go to ER. The ER called his office and he refused to come in to see me. Told the nurse "On the record, I am not on call." They had to send me to another hospital to see another ENT.

It was an excellent experience. My surgery went well and my sinus problems are fixed

Excellent physician I really appreciated him taking extra time with me to explain my surgery.

Dr. Chase did an excellent job diagnosing my problem and my surgery went off without a hitch. He took a lot of time with me and I appreciate that

I came in to see Dr. Chasse for a follow up surgery i had done at cedars sinai. He was so very rude. He called the doctor i saw for the surgery a very rude name that i wont repeat on here. As soon as i sat down i started to tell him about my stitches, and he immediatly interrupted and said " this is not story time, i dont need your monologue" then immediatly yelled at my 5 year old daughter to get off my lap, and slammed his pen down! I stood up to leave and he continued his rampage belittling me all the way out the door. I was appalled. I burst into tears! I immediatly called the physicians group supervisor where he works and filed a complaint. He is a terrible person, dont waste your money or time going here!

I was devastated to learn Dr Chasse has returned to USA. Thank you Dr Thomas, for all you did for me during your time in New Zealand, I will never forget your kindness and caring manner during the course of my treatment & surgery. If I was a drinker, I would raise a glass of whiskey to salute him ;0)!

Went to 10am appointment and discovered 4 other people booked for the same appointment time. Then an unexpexted woman in a wheelchair was wasiting for the dr to fit her in. Waited in the waiting room for over 30 minutes and again in the exam room another 25 minutes. When Dr Chasse finally arrived he had not read my chart and had no idea why I was there. Then he proceeded to examin me with the worst bedside manner I have ever seen. He was not interested in the enviornmental things I had been exposed to which were Burn Pits in Iraq for 32 months but he said "oh you want me to say that the burn pit caused the problem" I said no I want you to examine me to tell me if it was. he said it would be impossible to do that and he can't answer the question. He didn't want to get involved. He then prescribed me a drug that I have taken before that doesn't work only 10 times stronger. He had the worst bedside manner, and was rough in handling me. I have a follow up and will be canceling it for certain.

Visited Dr Chasse in his new office in Augusta, Maine with my brain injured and deaf husband. Dr Chasse did not care that my husband was deaf and kept looking away from him to talk to him. He called my 57 year old husband a smart allic. He did not explain to my husband that he was going to put a scope up his nose just shoved it in. He was the rudest, most paitent uninformed, abrupt doctor I have ever had the unfortunate pleasure to meet. Would I send my husband back...absoluttely NOT. Please do not go to this doctor.

STAY AWAY!!! He is horrible. Has no medical knowledge and is very rude.

After a very long wait, I was called into the exam room by Dr Chasse. He was very aburbt,rushed, and dismissive, and sent the RN out for something or other so we were alone. HOWEVER when he used a scope to see the inside of my throat, he was very fourceful in inserting it down my nose. I was MOST CONCERNED that instead of just standing beside the chair, he came in front of me and leaned into me, placing his leg in between my knees, and pinning me down. I was supposed to return for a follow up but NO Way do I ever want to be in an exam room with him ever again.
