I was referred to Dr. Guess by Dr Haemmerle my Ortho. I had a cortisone injection with radiology in my shoulder for pain....I don't have long term results as it has only been a few hours but all went well. He asked questions and listened. It's sore now so I suspect he injected it in the right place for sure. Good service and didn't wait long .

Called and got an appointment 2 days later. Extreme pain at night on my hip. I thought likely arthritis. X-ray showed only mild arthritis. I had inflammation where a band of tendons and ligaments attach to the hip. Dr. Guse gave me a cortisone shot and showed me a couple of stretching exercises. It is 90% better just overnight. Appointment went smoothly and Dr Huse did a good job explaining the problem.

Met Dr Guse when he completed my Carpal Tunnel on both wrists =excellent results. Now I needed my knee x-rayed and examined for pain and stiffness. He didn't think I "needed" AA knee replacement, but a cortisone injection would have a better result for me now. Fabulous! Dr Guse is a a straight shooter without hesitation to advise patients of options and guide them to a decision. GR8 doctor, I trust him. I feel confident to have him examine my thumb next.

Dr. Guse performed surgery on my left hand. Surgery was successful and I was referred to occupational therapy. With much hard work on my part and follow up visits with Dr. Guse I am able to perform tasks that were otherwise difficult. I was referred to Dr Guse after I fractured my shoulder. I was excited to be able to see an orthopedic doctor because I have scoliosis and have been experiencing pinched nerves in my neck that radiates pain down my left arm and in my lower back that radiates pain down my right leg. The fall down the stairs that fractured my shoulder has caused my nerve pain to increase dramatically. I shared this with Dr Guse hoping that he would look into this, maybe schedule another appointment but he dismissed this all together. Hopefully my primary will refer me to someone. I was so disappointed!

Dr. Guse is patient and thoroughly informative when explaining diagnosis and treatment for care. I will continue to follow up with all of my care with him and his staff.

I am so pleased with Dr Guse. I had a torn rotator cuff, and he was incredible! He is, by far, the best there is......I will continue to go to him until he retires!!
