Dr. Tisha Williams, MD

Not sure what is going on at this office, but I have been a patient for 3 years. They do not return any phone calls, cancelled my appointment once I got to the office, will not refill any prescriptions

I went to her twice I. Horrible pain. I had a reaction the the steroid, causing swollen neck and shoulders and more pain. Blood tests was normal so, I was told to go to ER if I couldn't tolerate the pain. I don't need to go to ER for pain. Sick people are there. What happened to Do no harm? I thought she would try to help me. I hope doctor's take better care of her if she gets hurt.

I've been there twice in 7 days. My condition is worse after treatment. I've been crying in pain for 10 days. She's does not care. She checks her spot for smoking but God forbid she give a pain meds that are better than OTC. I resent the fact that she is letting me suffer after I begged her for mercy. " blood tests were normal so if you can't stand the pain go to the emergency room. " I won't be back. Not any one on my family. After 10 years, she has no empathy for pain. I hope she never needs help.

My husband and I are both longtime patients of Dr. Williams and find her to be a great asset to the Tidelands Health Group. She cares deeply about her patients health and does everything in her power to see that they are properly cared for. You leave her office feeling better than you did when you entered.

I have been with this doctor for many years. In the beginning she would take time to listen and she was like most of what these reviews are saying caring even seem very loving way by a doctor. But over this pass year she has been more and more unlike herself. I now she human and has things that come up that she has to deal with, just as we all do. I feel for her, but when she can't or want list to all that I am telling her and then gets mad. Then the time has come to go. I am leaving be cause I do not trust her or the care she give. Years ago I could have given five stars, but today two stars is the best I can do. I hope she can get things together and he the five stars doctor she use to be.

I have to beg for prescription refills, make sure I call 24-48 hours in advance of needing a refill and then run the gauntlet to get the scrip submitted to the pharmacy. It's like a bad Saturday Night skit. "Oh, I see you haven't been here in a while", "you will need to talk to the nurse first", "Even though you had blood work during your last physical, you need blood work again". It's ridiculous the pain, and time suck I have to go through for a flipping prescription refill.

The only reason that I don't give her five stars on all of these is because. When my husband go's to see her she will not take care of things that are male relating or below his waistline. She is a family doctor meaning she treats or should treat all members of my family or any family and this includes men. If she don't like treating the men in this kind of way, then she should not call herself a Family's doctor, because she truly is not what she calls herself.

Dr Williams and staff are the best. I have been a patient now for almost 4 years. Dr Williams always listens and really cares. I feel so fortunate to have found such a caring Doctor. Thank you for all that you have done

Dr. Williams and her staff are a great addition to Murrells Inlet. Georgia's loss is our gain. She takes the time to care for her patients and looks at the whole picture. I have been seeing her since she started her practice here in Murrells Inlet. I have referred family members and many others and everyone loves her also!

I have been with Dr. Williams for several years and also my husband sees he as well for a couple of years, now. Even though she is in South Carolina now, we still won't use anyone else. We make the drive to Murrell's Inlet in order to see her. She has never missed her mark in a diagnosis and will not waste time nor money to refer me to a specialist if she thinks I need one. We both love her as person and a physician. She takes all the time she needs for us. She DOES put her patients first and we can't imagine anyone giving her a low rating but I personally won't settle for less than the BEST. Surely do miss her in Tifton.

The BEST doctor I have every had!She takes time listen to you. Her and her staff was very friendly and always helpful.My husband and I both seen her.Sure wish she was still in Ga. I miss you DR. Williams.

I learned I have degenerative back disease...roughly translated a couple bad disks which cause chronic pain and one bulges and pinches my nerve. OK. Sucks for me. Anyway, I have seen this doctor for the diagnosis and treatment of this problem 4X. The facility, nurses, and office staff are all incredibly nice and efficient,however, the doctor who is treating me I think has some serious issues which need to possibly be watched by whomever issues medical licenses. She has ordered MRI's for me, prescribed several types of pain medications, and even performed a minor surgical procedure. The problem I have is that every time I see her, she has no idea who I am or what is wrong with me. She also needs me to remind him what my prognosis is, and what she has done. She did not remember ordering my MRI, even when I was there for a follow up visit to go over my MRI, or even performing the surgery on me or how many times I've had the surgery done at her office. Now keep in mind, I've seen her 4X in the span of 6 weeks, and I do not have the type of look or personality someone forgets easily, good or bad. I just think this doctor is either on tons of drugs or simply doesn't care enough about her patients to review their charts before coming into see them. Now I have NEVER had a doctor show: 1. blatant negligence of my condition 2. not properly explain what is wrong and how to proceed 3. expect me to continually remind her of my treatment history while under her careIn addition to seeking out a 2nd opinion because I don't trust her, I also feel compelled to write a review about her. I really think she should be reported to the AMA or whoever monitors doctors licenses, because her lack of awareness and blatant disregard for her patients is what leads to horrible medical accidents like administering the wrong prescriptions, mistaken diagnosis, performing surgery on the wrong body part, etc.

I used Dr. Williams for 9 years. She has been gone from my area for a few months and the loss to this community is immense. I was always impressed with her ability to deliver impeccable health care while being so down to earth and approachable. I read the one negative review on this site and would like to point out that this review was submitted by a wife who never spoke to Dr. Williams. She should know that a doctor nor her staff is going to discuss a patient with some other person without consent. Has she heard of HIPPA? I believe that her new community is the most blessed community in the world to have her!

My family and I have been using Dr. Williams for several years, and we love her. She's not like any doctor I've ever had. She's real. Down to earth. Spends time with you as if she has no other patient waiting. She is thorough, taking time to explain everything she does, and making sure you completely understand. She went to bat for me with a rare condition I had that other doctors wanted to say was a generic stomach issue. If it weren't for her, I may still be on pain meds living a miserable life, but she would not give up on me and continued to hound the doctors until someone took note and took care of my problem that only she was able to diagnose. She is about to move from GA, and we mourn the loss of a top notch MD!! I can't imagine there every being another like her, and I cannot say enough positive things about her or her staff. Warm and friendly environment.

My husband used her for about a year because I heard lots of good things about Dr. Tisha Williams. However, my husband had long wait times, she couldn't seem to put him on one medicine that would work that would be mostly covered by our insurance, and the nurse never did return any of my calls. I was going to change to her if he had good results, but I am glad I didn't change from Affinity. I just scheduled my husband an appointment with another doctor in town because it's been 2 days and the nurse will not return my call. I am afraid if he keeps using this doctor, he may die from problems that she didn't diagnose since she just took a guess that he may be having a migraine and didn't actually do any blood work to rule out other possible problems. When it comes to my husband's health, I don't won't any doctor playing guessing games with the treatment without ruling out more serious problems. He could be about to have a stroke or developing diabetes but she wouldn't know that because she didn't do any tests on him.
