Dr. Todd Michael Darmody

Dr. Darmody is a great doctor - caring and knowledgeable, he listens to patients and helps them understand their condition and how to treat. I've been to several other Endocrinologists without much bedside manner, and I appreciate Dr. Darmody's attitude towards patients.

I love Dr Darmody! The first 5 minutes with him and I knew Id found an amazing Dr! He has changed my life by making me well. For years the drs Id seen didn't treat my Hashimotos correctly. It's been out of control for years with me being a very sick person. Dr Darmody have me the right medicine and I feel like a new person! He is #1 in my book!! Thank You so much DR Darmody!! The staff is great too!

I been going to Dr Darmody for almost 10 years! I been a close witness of the constantly changes of the staff... it used to be bad no is worst Dr. and its is a shame cause I truly LOVE YOU as my Dr. but unfortunately your staff been beyond rude in numerous time.. and it is not because you moved to a new locations either that is just the way those ladies are RUDE AND CARELESS! they are hurting your patients, patients that we love you and trust on you but you are putting us in the hands of this HORRIBLE staff. my last experience a called several times to make an app. at your office.. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK.. then I run out of refills o course I called back finally A VERY RUDE LADY answered the phone and put me on hold for over 8 minutes then she asked me if I have my results ready to see you ... HOW ? I just explained that I been trying to reach you guys since 4 ever.. ok please send me all the test I need to take and make my apt for next week. guess what? I never received anything in my mail called back to your office spoke with your rude staff and go over the aggravation AGAIN!!! but you know what I decided to give you another chance and I used to think .. you know what .. he is truly worth all this aggravation that I am going thru since its been a relationship for almost 10 years, he is the best and I really LOVE HIM! I am not going to change Dr. NO WAY even if my husband asked me to do so in multiple times...but you now what happened on the day of my app..... I wait for you almost 48 minutes -- YOUR RUDE STAFF PUT ME FOR 48 MINUTES ON THE WAITING ROOM and YOU NEVER CAME! ANOTHER LADY that introduce herself as Tony came instate... let me be clear that I have nothing against this new Practitioner you hired to check your Patients but I would appreciated if someone will let me know if that was ok .. then would be my decision.. but no one said a word! I was truly hurt! you make me feel like you have no care for your patients and sorry that I am express my feelings this way but this was the only was to get your attention .. maybe you realized what is going on in your office... by the way this new practitioner has no idea about anything about me NOTHING she asked me why I want to do the sonogram? I said cause every 2 years the Dr. likes to run one for me to make sure everything is alright... but you should know that or at least should said in my chart. sorry again Dr Darmody after many many changes and opportunities I gave to myself thinking one day you will have a great and courteous staff again... I got tired, bored and hurt waiting for this to happened. always wish you the best! MW

Dr Darmody's staff is the rudest and most unprofessional I have ever spoken with in any office, anywhere. They represent of Dr. Darmody. Because of his staff I will no longer be a patient. Dr. Darmody, if this is how you want your staff to treat your patients then it also reflects on you..

Of the six to eight times I have gone to Dr Darody's office, I have only met with Dr Darmody once and that was at the initial visit. He spent less than 5 minutes with me. His staff is horrible. I consistently wait 45+ minutes each appointment (it doesn't seem to matter which time of day it is) to be seen despite MY promptness. His staff has no consideration of their patient's time, which is rude. Refills are nearly impossible to get timely. You need to leave several messages in order to get what you need. Staff is rude and vindictive when you provide constructive feedback. Dr Darmody needs to start fresh by getting an office manager specializing in time management (or spreading appointments apart or creating longer appointments for freshly diagnosed diabetics) and experienced disease management nurses in there. One good point...I have had some good results with the combinations of medications. If you can afford to waste a few hours, Dr Darmody's office is for you.

Dr. Darmody is truly a great doctor. But here are some facts you need to know. If you come to see him without your logs of you sugar readings you are really wasting his time and yours. He takes the data you provide to make a sound treatment plan and tells you the truth in a most honest but in a pleasant way. If you are serious about treatment and getting the best help you found the right Doctor !

As other people have stated, I am having the same exact issue with having anyone call me back regarding my insurance verification. I've been calling for two weeks and they keep telling me someone will call me back and I never get a response. Dr. Darmondy is listed as a in network physician for my insurance but his office won't call me back! It's very frustrating when I hear good things about Dr. Darmondy but his staff isn't helping.

ALSO INS. VERIFICATION PROBLEMS AS PREVIOUS COMPLAINT ON REVIEW! I CALLED several months ago to get an appt. I was referred from a very well known Dr. who is very good & said Dr. Darmody was a very good dr. NEVERTHELESS, his staff is not helping his practice. They would not verify my insurance so i could be sure i was not wasting my and his time, in fact she told me "It was a waste of there time" It was sarcastic, unprofessional, rude & i felt insulted. Have you had a change lately? Every time I call a Dr. office they verify insurance, for all concerned, & then no one is inconvenienced, if ins is not covered. It is very hard to get thru in a call to this dr. office to get an appt.- 2 months out. I do not mind waiting for a good dr. but if they won't verify ins. it could be 6 mos. before i see a dr. that i need to see Immediately or as soon as possible. This may be a Great Dr. but he needs to look into how his staff is handling call ins. Maybe he isn't aware of the rude responses & unprofessional approach the staff is taking towards his patients.

Cannot get an answer regarding the Acceptance of Insurance. This doctor may or may not accept your insurance. Please call the doctor's office to find out if your insurance plan is accepted. THIS IS ON YOUR WEBSITE. NEVERTHELESS, THE OFFICE REFUSED TO VERIFY MY INS. In compliance, I CALLED TO Please verify insurance with Dr. office as written on website, as some loc. may not take certain plans. When i called to verify ins. they refused, stating we do not do that until you come in for appt. Dr. appts are 1 1/2 month out, so if you wait 1.5 months plus travel & wait for appt. you may or may not be able to see the Dr. Don't you think that is a lot of effort for a patient who takes the time to call & verify even though there ins. plan says they are covered. No one wants to waste time, incl. the dr. or pt. if ins. is not accepted. I cannot understand THIS RESISTANCE TO VERIFY MY INS. (i have been to a dermatologist last week, a primary & never had any trouble pre-verifying ins. WHY IS THIS SUCH A PROBLEM WITH YOUR OFFICE? Dr Darmody , dismissed me because I did not fall into a category that he normally deals with. I have some endocrine issues related to my hypothalamus and if he had a more open minded approach was willing to help me by sending me for some tests etc.he may have been vital to my healing process. Instead he just said he could not help me without even trying.

God blessed this doctor's hands. I went for a thyroid biobsy and I didn't feel a thing! He asked if it hurted more than a blood draw. He is so funny. I told him he can start doing my blood draws. He is a great doctor.

I waited about 3 weeks to see this doctor and let me tell you it was worth the wait. He spent time talking to me about my concerns. Took the book! I came with that had all my medical records and told me he was going to get back to me w-once he reviews it. No doctor has ever requested that I leave my huge medical records book so that they may review it. It took some time but he called me back in 2 weeks and had a plan! I finally felt someone was listening to me and took the time to review my history. This doctor is A+++
