Dr. Todd Alan Lockwitz, MD

To the first person complaining about him "over prescribing" you narcotic pain killers I say this; I've seen Dr. Lockwitz since he graduated medical school and he's one of a small % of doctors who actually care for their patients. That's why he takes extra time with each PERSON (not an object). That being said he hates to see people suffer and will do what's in his power to make you comfortable and extend your life. The fact you got addicted to pain killers is YOUR fault, not his. I don't believe he was force-feeding you pills at your house. There is a sound medical plan to ween people off addictive narcotics and because you abused your prescriptions it sounds like he was starting that plan. Dr. Lockwitz saved my father's life. He attended to me after hours and visited me in the hospital on a weekend. He's an extremely talented and knowledgeable physician. To accuse this excellent doctor of malfeasance because of YOUR negligent use of prescriptions is disgusting.

Dr. Lockwitz has always been wonderful with me but his office staff is often rude and unresponsive to my needs.

Dr. Lockwitz is always behind schedule.My husband has waited as long as 3 hours to see him. He is spending time with patients but not really addressing their concerns. He did not follow-up either.We were very disappointed in this Physician.

Dr. Lockwitz has been my Dr. for about 18 years and is darn good. His diagnosis for my problems has been right, and he will take time to explain the issue with your body and why he thinks a certain way. This is why the wait time is greater, as he is probably reading files and consulting patients prior you you.
