Love Dr. Bankett, her bedside manner and warmth are outstanding. Her waiting room is crowded and wait times are long for babies.

I love love love Dr. Bankett. She is very attentive to the needs of my children. Out of all the doctors that had seen my youngest son, she gave me the referral to get him diagnosed with Autism. Her help and early diagnosis enabled my son to be treated early. He is thriving now.

Every time I take the baby for an appointment, whether a sick or well visit, we wait for at least an hour. I have waited for three hours, half of which was in the exam room with the baby in nothing but his diaper. The rooms are drafty and not well insulated so you can pretty much hear what's going on in the other exam rooms. The staff is not my favorite, they certainly aren't the warm and fuzzy type you expect from a pediatrician. I have had problems getting a same day sick appointment, even when I called first thing in the morning (and then ended up at PAH to find a double ear infection). The doctor is nice, but she doesn't clean wax out of the baby's ears so she doesn't actually know if he has an ear infection--but she prescribes the medicine anyway. She could be a fabulous doctor with a better staff and better management of time (scheduling and with the patient). We are leaving for something better.

Where do I even begin? The wait to be seen is well over an hour. I sat in a room with 2 kids (2 and a half and 1 years old) for an hour just waiting on the Doctor. The rooms are beyond filthy. The floors haven't been washed in months (need a good scrubbing). The staff is about as apathetic as possible. They only accept co pays in cash, and over the phone they are abysmal. Getting in to be seen is also not that easy. I have needed check ups, and were told my wait (as an established patient) are well over 2 weeks. If pushed, they get me in sooner. Why not just offer that spot in the first place? My son got a blood test for lead and anemia. They were to call me in 2 weeks. STILL have no idea how that turned out. The doctor is competent, and calm. She is not even the problem. Got a long wait? Call people! Tell them not to come until a different time! Not that difficult to keep us happy. It's the staff 100%. I can't deal with them.

Let me put it like this, my wife and I went in for a newborn appointment and were waiting for an hour and with no clue as to when we will be seen. We asked for our Co-Pay back and just left. There was no point in doing business with this doctors office. Not sure how the service was because we ren't going to see the doctor in a prompt manner.

As a newly adoptive parent of a special needs little angel, Dr. Bankett was referred to me and as soon as I met her, she put my nervousness to rest. Her nurse Deonna is an angel as well; they are truly a "dream team". I've fostered many little angels and everyone I've taken them to Dr. Bankett for all their medical attention. Dr. Bankett used to have an office 10 mintues from my house, but I've chosen to go to her LaPlata office which is 45 minutes from my home because of the kind treatment my daughter receives. I can't say enough about Dr. Bankett, I beleive she is truly an Angel sent from God.

First of all, I had no problems with Dr. Bankett. She was professional and had excellent bedside manner. We switched pediatricians due to the recurrent unprofessionalism of her staff. After several bad encounters, we could not take it anymore. I was very sad to not see the doctor anymore, but we are happy where we ended up. Just for the record, I have never ever had a bad relationship with any staff at any other offices I've been to. I consider our family to be courteous and accommodating in regards to doctors' schedules and clerical errors resulting in accidental cancellations of appointments, but we were treated like we were at fault even when we clearly had an appointment card with the date and time in question. Bottom line-She is a great doctor. Maybe at this time there is even new staff and our issues with the office won't become someone elses'.

Dr. Bankett seems to love what she's doing. She is able to put the children at ease. Sheterats them with kindness and a loving style of professionalism. I'd highly recommend her to anyone!

I dont want to take mt kids any were else. I am expecting my fourth child and we will be cared for by Dr. Bankett...

Dr Bankett has been my second childs Doctor since he was born. We have had ALOT of medical issues with him and Dr Bankett has always and continues to be very instrumental in his care! She is a GREAT Physician.

Dr. Bankett has been my sons pediatrician since birth and I credit her with saving my son's life. He was born with a severe milk allergy and bleed internally and had jaundice. She was attentive and quickly diagnosed him. Later he developed severe Asthma. Again,attentive, and quickly got him under control. She does not play around and is very attentive. A lot of other Doctor's blow you off.....she does not.
