Dr. N Tucker Mattox, MD

Dr. Mattox has been my doctor for the last 20 years and I’ve never had any complaints. . I am currently seeing him for my knee and have just had a complete knee replacement two weeks ago. Dr Mattox, office staff and PT have all be wonderful throughout the whole process.

Dr. Mattox has been my doctor for years and I’ve never had any complaints. My diagnosis has always been accurate and taken care of efficiently. I am currently seeing him for my knee which has a torn meniscus and is bone on bone. We’ve just started treatment and I have no worries or complaints. The staff is great and the service it’s also.

After a short two weeks wait I went in for my meniscus repair. The surgical center staff were very friendly, professional, and personable. Dr. mattox is the skilled professional which made me confident to relax knowing the job was done right. Thank you for sharing your talent with me. You have my gratitude.

Does not listen to patients, never gave a game plan or talked about post op at all.

Limping, pain, burning, fluid, all was handled in a timely, professional manner. He drew fluid off my knee, and gave a shot, with directions on how to help everyday. X rays were taken and discussed for further treatments. Staff were nice and answered all questions. Good experience thanks time of wait was what a specialist takes.

From my first visit, I have felt that Dr Maddox does NOT listen to my description of pain or symptoms. First visit he only stayed in my room for 2 minutes. I am a worker comp patient and feel like trash during my visits. I would NOT recommend him to anyone.

I called and made an appointment with Dr. Hester and for some reason got Dr. Mattox that day. I had a torn rotator cuff and when he got into my arm it was worse than he expected. There was a bone spur and damage to my bicep also. I have had very little pain and only been to PT 3 times. I'm doing it at home and shoulder is doing very good after only 4 weeks. He took a lot of time letting me know what he done. Would recommend him to other people and use him again.

I waa given the correct diagnosis but my grave concern is the lack of professional caring the was not rendered. I had grave concerns regarding surgery and was searching for another alternative for my medical condition. Since I could not go through a surgical procedure due to my concerns I was quickly dismissed from any further conversation or treatment. It appeared to me since I was not in agreeance with the doctor he was not interested in any alternative treatment. I was dissatified with his lack of empathy.
