Dr. Antoci is very knowledgeable and skilled in his field. He explains the procedure to be done, in detail as well as what to expect during recovery. He has great bedside manner, answers any and all questions. He is approachable & makes his patient feel very comfortable. I would recommend him to everyone.

Dr Antoci is a wonderful, competent, intelligent surgeon. He did both my knees. I am so pleased with the results. I would highly. Recommend him.

Dr. Antoci is a wonderful surgeon and a caring man. He helped me prepare for hip replacement surgery and answered all my questions and concerns.

Dr. Antoci has replaced both of my hips over a 4 year period. I am a new woman, no longer in pain. I resumed yoga, biking and walking to my delight. He and his team are outstanding. I thank them from the bottom of my heart and highly recommend them.

I recently had a full hip replacement performed by Dr. Valentin Antoci at the Miriam Hospital. I could not have had a better experience and outcome! From the start every member of the medical team was highly communicative and expressed wonderful patient care. During the entire pre-admission, surgery, post surgery and PT process I received outstanding care. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Antoci and every individual team member who contributed to my care.

Dr. Antoci is the hip wizard! I am three weeks post total left hip replacement and walking pain free. By day 10, I was able to use a cane and now at day 20, I can cruise around my home assistance-free including going up and down stairs. I use the cane just in case when I’m outside or going for a short errand. I highly recommend Dr. Antoci if you are considering this surgery. He listens to what you anticipate is a realistic outcome and advises, does not push, you make the decision best for you. If you decide to have surgery, you’ll I feel like you’re driving a new car .... every step is a smooth ride!

He is the best orthopedic hip and knee replacement surgeon in RI

Dr. Antoci is the hip wizard. On Sept. 4, 2019 I had total hip replacement (left side) and 18 days later, I am pain free! I have to remind myself to walk with out limping only because I sometimes my mind falls back to my pre-surgery self and I think the hip will cause me pain! I used a walker for the first 10 days then then a cane for 5 days. I can walk totally assistance free around the house now but I do take the cane when I go outside. If you are looking for an excellent surgeon with a successful outcome then Dr. Antoci is your man! If you’re looking for someone to hold your hand and to convince you to have surgery, try someone else. He’s there to get the job done.

I had a total knee replacement with him and back to running... That's right - I am running! And it's only 6 weeks from surgery. I appreciate everything he did for me.

I was extremely disappointed at my visit with Dr. Antoci. I have had severe knee problems for years and put off this visit because I am very busy. Dr. Antoci diagnosed me before seeing any of my medical history or even meeting me. He walked into the room with 3 sheets of paper for runners knee exercises and placed his hands on my knee for 30 seconds to feel around. He didn't have me stand or test for lack of mobility. He spent less than 5 minutes in the room and didn't even listen to me. I didn't even have a chance to tell him that I have done the physical therapy in the past and that it is not runners knee because he rushed out of the room. Unprofessional and a complete waste of my time.

Doctor does a good job with surgery, but he did not follow up after the surgery. But the real issue is his office staff is the absolute worst I have dealt with in 40+ years. They moved an appointment never told me until I showed up. Claimed they never got paperwork despite my doctor saying they faxed it over 3 times. Awful, awful staff!!

My husband fell off a ladder two days ago - fractured his hip. He was in extreme pain; nothing helped. He had emergency surgery the next day - we were so lucky to find Dr. Antoci! Fabulous doctor, very personable, explained everything, answered all our questions - my questions actually, my husband was in too much pain to care about much. Six hours after the surgery he was able to sit in a chair; next morning, he was moving around, standing, getting ready for PT! Amazing! Dr. Antoci is a great doctor and a wonderful person! Thank you so much!
