Dr. Vaqar Ahmad, MD

Dont go to this dr vhis staff and ihis self are very rude to the patients if they are on a low income and can't make payments all this dr sees is dollar signs he could care less about his patients got a letter from him stating since I could not make payments he could not see me anymore I would not recommend him to any One. Like I said he just sees dollar signs

Dr Vaqar Ahamad is a very rude person has no regard for his patients no bedside manor would never recommend this Dr He treats his patients like they are below him and he is better than the people that come to his office he needs to be reported to the medical board he doesn't deserve to be a Dr absolutely the worse visit ever in my life don't know how someone so rude can be a Doctor

I went to his office for the first time and he was very pleasant with me. He is very thorough with his diagnosis and he helped me out a lot. I would recommend him!

It took me 40 + min to get to his office that had bugs all over the floor, wait for an incredibly long time, to see him for maybe 5 min. He told me what I already new. Said my labs weren’t current enough for him and that I needed to get current labs and come back and see him in a week..... didn’t take the time to listen to my symptoms. I won’t ever go back.

I went to him twice and all he has done is tell me things that I already know. Or that he had previously tell me. The two sessions lasts for 5 minutes. Waiting for him to be ready takes longer than that. Honestly he is not a good doctor to go to. You’re waiting your time with him. His secretary is rude as well and seems as though she doesn’t want to be there or talk to you. She also speaks to you in a condescending voice.

He didn't do anything. I had a cortisol level if 2. My thyroid was under the range...he did nothing.

His office cancels appointments because he went out of town. Happened several times. Canceled once while I was on my way there because he had to leave. While I was in route. Had appt on bad weather day, I had to call to find out if thEY were in the office, they didn't call me. they called next day to make new appt. Had appt, was 5 minutes late due to wreck on freeway and they wouldn't see me. Finding new Dr ! Would not recommend this one.

my grandmother used to love going to see Dr. Ahmad until recently. he schedules her appointments at least six months apart, which i find was very odd but trusted him, at that point anyway, to know what he was doing. that is far from the case now. out of all the times my grandmother has seen Dr. Ahmad there has only been a change of her prescriptions she is taking twice. both times done by Dr. Ahmad and both times was due to the pharmacies not being able to get those particular prescriptions. now we are having an issue with getting one of those again and Dr. Ahmad, knowing full well the dosages my grandmother has been taking since at least seeing him for well over three years, denies knowing the correct dosage for her prescription and has changed the dosage given to the pharmacy. the particular medication is one that my grandmother cannot go more than a couple days without and now that he has changed it she will be fifteen days short. i tried calling Dr. Ahmad's office, which makes the third time this week since tuesday,and just like the other two times i got his "answering service" claiming they would page the doctor. this has become ridiculous and i should not have to go through so much just to get a prescription refilled

He comes off as being nice--only when my husband attends visits with me. He doesn't listen, belittles the patient and makes you feel like any symptom you have is made up. His staff is rude and even worse bedside manner than he has! Every visit is an hour wait before seeing the doctor. His staff doesn't relay information to him, while you are in the office! I am happy to switched to a competent doctor when I did!

I've always had long waits and short visits. Office personnel don't appear to be very organized about returning calls or understanding what I was there for (I was not there for a routine blood work followup and they continued to ask me if I had done my lab work). Lastly, he sent me to the hospital to have a procedure done which subsequently was cancelled and I was told the Dr. would be calling me. I am still waiting for that call 2 months later.

I spent an hour waiting for him to see me, and when he came in the room, he didn't ask me how I was - just gave me an order for the lab work I needed and told me to come back in a week.When I returned the next week, my wait wasn't nearly as long - but he just told me that my TSH level was in the normal range. When I told him that I don't feel any better and my hair is still falling out, he said well your TSH is in the normal range.( just because it's in the normal range doesn't mean it's normal for me. There was still room for it to go down and still be in the normal range) He wouldn't even talk about changing my medication. He told me to come back in 3 months. He spent less than a minute with me the first visit and maybe 2 minutes the second visit, but I was charged for both visits even though all he did was give me an order for lab work on the first visit.

he will drop his patients without explanation, will not return phone calls in a timely manner(have had to wait 72 hrs before), his nurse doesnt always relay the correct info to him, he does not put how you describe how you feel correctly in your medical chart(he will say your fine when you said something totally different), he does not try other medicines when you are not responding to another.
