Dr. Carlson did an excellent job on my facial ablation. There was no pain with the procedure and it has really helped my skin look younger. It took out wrinkles and darkened spots on my face and neck. My face looks so much better! Debbie Kimber

I liked her for my dad, she cares and new what to do for him.

I had a problem for 2 years, was seen by 4 physicians. Dr. Carlson found what was wrong with me and prescribed medicine that worked.

I find Dr. Carlson to be very professional and trustworthy. My only complaint is that appointments can seem rushed, though she can be very good for conversations. Her staff is very friendly, and Dr. Carlson is great with my baby daughter. She is practical and does not fear monger, yet listens if the usual advice does not work.

She was very professional, answered all my questions. Great bedside manners. Highly recommended!

I will not go back to Dr. Carlson. I was having trouble with anxiety attacks, was suicidal, etc, needed help. Yelled at me when I couldn't explain exactly what was happening, because I didn't know, was very cold and unkind. I was worse off when we left the office than I was going in. Would not recommend her to anyone who prefers a softer bedside manner.

She is the most professional physician I have ever been to. Her office looks very nice and clean. It was a good experience.

i am from china, i have probkems with medical english. Dr. Carlson translates topics we discuss using her computer and it helps a lot to understand my disease. Dr.carlson lived in japan, so she understands Asian culture and I feel very comfortable coming to her office.

Dr. Carlson is the best doctor I've been to yet. She's very personable, and she listened to and discussed all of my concerns. Many doctors overbook and rush you out to move on to the next patient. Not Dr. Carlson. She's also the gentlest provider to do a Pap smear I've ever encountered. Plus, she scheduled a followup with me to make sure my new medication is working for me. Last but not least, the practice is computerized! They keep your picture in their system so they can put a face to a name when speaking with you over the phone. This creates a more efficient system and a better patient-doctor relationship. I didn't know how bad my old doctor was until my visit with Dr. Carlson. My only criticism--and it's a little thing--is that the staff could stand to be a bit more outwardly friendly. All in all, I'm very happy with Dr. Carlson's practice.

I have been seeing Dr. Carlson for 6 years. It is easy to get an appointment and her staff are very nice. I would recommend this physician.

I have been using Dr. Carlson for 5 years now and have never had a bad experience. All of these bad reviews I think come from people who basically never accept the truth. Everyone will have a bad experience with someone regardless of who they see and are not satisfied with any Doctors diagnosis.

I came to Dr. Carlson for a problem I was having while working out. I am young and in shape but had a reoccuring problem of passing out when working out. My first visit was great, she took all of the proper procedures and ordered all of the tests. When they all came back negative her response to me was "eat more carbs" and then she proceeded to tell me that "it is probably psychological". I was infuriated. I burst out into tears because I was so frustrated and reassured her that I take a conscience effort to eat more before I work out and something else was wrong, it's not normal for a 25 year old to not be able to walk on a treadmill for 7 minutes!!! She left the room within 2 minutes of me crying and upset and then sent in a nurse 15 minutes later with a nuerological appointment and that was it! No care for her patients, what kind of doctor leaves their patient crying and extremely upset and never comes back? I do not recommend her to anyone!!!! I have never felt worse about a doctor or an appointment.. not to mention I still have no idea what is wrong!!!!!!!

I felt like Dr. Carlson is a good doctor and very smart. However, I do not feel like she was interested or cared about my concerns during the visit. I went in for a premarital exam and needing to decide a form of birth control... guess I should have gone with a GYN, not a general family doctor. I am very hesitant about going on the "pill". She disregarded all of the concerns (the few she allowed me the time to voice). She left the room and came back with my prescription all printed out, before we had even discussed how I was feeling about it or what I was comfortable with. I asked how much it was and she just said she didn't know (not even a general idea)and to ask a pharmacist. She left me very little choice and definitely not a choice between a pill and and another form of birth control. I felt so hesitant about her advice I have contacted another medical professional who has warned me against the safety of the product she prescribed. I know every medical professional will have a different opinion but I feel like it is their job to listen to the patient's expectations and concerns, and custom fit the patient to what will work best for them, not just have their mind made up for the product they will prescribe for every patient they see. This drug inparticular is even on the "do not take" list because of the dangers it presents. In all cases, doctors should research what they are recommending.I don't mean to make it sound all negative. She was happy, friendly, and nice and her staff was great. The office was quiet, small, comfortable, and well organized. She was great with the proceedures she performed, explaining what would happen, and making me feel comfortable. However, if you're wanting to discuss pros and cons of a product and make an informed decision with the help of your doctor, I don't recommend her. If it's a simple diagnosis you're needing, I can imagine she would get the job done quickly and efficiently. I have heard good things about her so I'm sure the majority of people have a lot better experience than I did!
