Dr. Vivek Kumar Manchanda, MD

Dr. Vivek is a great doctor for people improperly perscribed pain medication. However, when a diagnosis calls for pain medication, he will advise you to, "deal with it." There is certainly an opiod epidemic in this coutry, but Dr. Vivek is on one side of the agenda and puts his reputation above the correct treatment.

I have been seeing Dr Manchanda for almost 7 years. When I came to him from another pain clinic, I was over-medicated to the point that I had a hard time functioning. I did my research before choosing Elpis Pain Management/Dr. Manchanda, and almost 7 years later, I am so thankful for that choice! Dr. Manchanda helped me get off the high doses and even go opiate-free for a couple of years. He has treated my back pain, nerve pain, sciatica, various joint problems, and has a thorough understanding of my multiple medical issues. He is responsible in how he prescribes meds, requiring a medication contract, and he cares deeply about his patients. I've had lots of different procedures done by him as well, including nerve blocks, radio frequency ablation (a nerve burning procedure), botox injections for migraines, and steroid injections. He stays up to date on the latest research, and is open to input from the patient. He listens to his patients, is kind and compassionate, and has even called me from home to check on me after procedures. I can't recommend Dr. Manchanda highly enough.

I saw Dr V last week and had a Nerve Block in my knee. After suffering from chronic pain for last 5 years, I am pain free.

I am off of all pain medication and go to him for injections 3 times a year and I am pain free!!

I was addicted to pain medication Dilaudid before I started treatment with Dr Manchanda. He weaned me off of Dilaudid slowly and his non narcotic medication regimen along with injections is helping me deal with chronic pain from 4 back surgeries. I did not believe in his philosophy at first. He eventually convinced me to get off of Dilaudid and I am so glad I did. Thank you once again!!

I was so miserable with pain and disheartened. I remember telling the doctor, that I refused to go on, if I could not walk and have a facsimile of life. I had gone through a lot. Dr. Manchanda said he would help me and he did!! He helped me to walk again without pain. I admire him and his work. It's genius. I would recommend him to anyone needing pain management. I would follow him to receive treatment again.

I was suffering from pain after shingles and had been to multiple pain doctors. I even had stimulator placed in my back for that by another pain doctor that was not helping. I talked to my last pain doctor who charged me so much money for injections and stimulator but he refused to offer any help. Dr. Manchanda reoperated and adjusted my stimulator and now I have zero pain when I use my stimulator. He is very gentle and easily available.

Dr Manchanda and his staff is great. They are all very polite. Dr Manchanda is very knowledgeable. I have Spina Bifida and have seen him many times. I was in excruciating pain before I started seeing him and with his medication regimen and injections, my pain is much much better. I have started working full time as well.

Dr Manchanda is very experienced. I have seen him for my spinal stenosis. I was given medications that were addicting and made me sleep all day by other pain doctor. He did a spinal cord stimulator implant and I did not need any pain medications after that. The staff is very courteous. My husband is seeing him now and I am very happy to see him getting better.

I liked the way I was treated in the clinic. Everyone including the receptionist, nurses and the doctor were very nice. He spent about 45 minutes with me.

Dr Manchanda is treating my mother for hip pain. He has good bedside manners. Her pain is 90% better. Her last doctor gave her medications that made her sleepy all day. She is doing much better now. I am happy with his services.

I have Degenerative Disc Disease in my back. Dr Manchanda has been treating me for past few months. I used to be on very high doses of Vicodin and Oxycontin. But with his treatment and injections, I have been able to come off of these medications. He is a very knowledgable. I have reccomended him to many of my friends and family members.
