Dr. Wade Alden Dickinson, MD

Sometimes he takes is additude out on the ..patients ....and the wait.

Staff Nurses and Dr. D all generally caring and friendly. Good appointment times.. no long office wait.. automatic appt. reminder calls..NP and MD allow patient to make desitions with plan of care. Dr. D and Dr. S have very good reputations in the medical field. I will and would continue to recommend this MD and NP to anyone having a baby or having female issues..

The staff at this office is amazing, helpful, responsive, friendly, and everything you could want at a doctor's office. I was disappointed, though, when I received a mailer from Dr. Wade Dickinson and his office headed "Just because you're a mom doesn't mean you have to look like one." This is a blatant slap in the face to any new mom, and takes advantage of a vulnerable patient population. The back of the mailer was full of listed services to apparently help me not look like a mom, including botox and lip plumping and several other things I would typically not associate with an OB. It made me feel as though Dr. Dickinson is looking to make a dollar off of me in any way he can, at the expense of demeaning marketing material and losing my respect. As for my personal experience with my c-section with Dr. Dickinson, the procedure went well and I am beyond grateful for my healthy baby boy. My scar healed worse than my first c-section (performed by a different doctor), and Dr. Dickinson did not see me himself at any follow up appointment at his office after the procedure. I recognize doctors are busy and tired. I personally consider myself to be an easy to please patient. This particular marketing experience and the lack of personal relationship in my experience with Dr. Dickinson made me feel compelled to leave this less than positive rating which feels very out of character.

Dr. Dickinson was the doctor of my second child. Depending on the office you visit may determine the outcome of your visit. I currently visit the new office and love it. The staff is very nice. I never expect to be seen immediately at any doctor appointment, but the atmosphere while waiting is great. I don't normally see Dr. Dickinson, but that's ok, because his staff is great. He did my hysterectomy last year and answered all my questions.

Love the dr and his staff he has delivered both my babies. One was a still born and him and his staff really cared and to this day 4 yrs later still talk about it and help me with dealing with it.

The doctors are ok because I only see them for less than 10 mins. The front desk however, are rude. After 10 years of being a patient here, the new desk clerks have driven me away with their unprofessionalism. I missed my first appt ever, and instead of warning me that if I miss another appointment, I wouldn't be allow back, they put me on hold and after 6 mins, hung up on me. I called back right away And a new clerk answered. Her voice was rude with an attitude. I apologized for missing the appointment and she quickly gave me an appointment without asking for my availability. I was wrong for missing my appointment, but professional doesn't hang up and give attitude. Sorry Dr. Dickenson, but your desk clerks needs to be on check. You had better and professional staffs 6 yrs ago.

I absolutely hate This place. I'm 35 weeks into my pregnancy and I have yet to meet the Doctor. The staff there are incompetent ! I tell them the day for my appointment and they write down a different day! And then I have to miss it sign a paper saying that they called me when they did not even try to contact me about the missing appointment. When I asked them why don't they call someone when they miss she simply replied with "we don't do that". It's by far the worst experience I've ever had with medical professionals. To all Dr Dickinson c-section mom's im getting a c-section very soon so I want to know how's his skills does he use staple for closure or there's other optional too i had two previous c-section but it's with a different obgyn and now I'm getting scare just because its a different doctor now Would you guy say he's good at it or so so.... Thanks

I never once saw Dr. Dickinson. I was always sent to the NP, Jean, who is very nice but *sigh* she didn't help me get to the bottom of my female problems. I came in several times saying that something was wrong gynecologically(painful cycles, short cycles, and couldn't conceive) and she dismissed it by prescribing me birth control. I told her that the BC wasn't helping and again, I was given BC, just a different brand. I was not reacting well to the BC, in fact, it made my pain worse but she insisted I keep taking it. Her logic was that BC would help me trick my body and once I went off it I would get pregnant spontaneously. Tests came back normal so she suggested an HSG but that would not have detected what I really had. What she did not think of, is that I could have had endometriosis. I did. I had stage 4 endometriosis, polyps, and a mild case of pcos when I went to another doctor for an opinion as to why I wasn't conceiving. This other doctor I went to specialized in laparascopies which are the only way of finding endo. I had a laparascopy with this other doctor and the disease was very advanced at this stage and BAD. I cried because I finally had an answer! What stage would I have been if that would have been brought up years ago? Stage 1? Stage 2? STAGE 4 IS THE WORST OF THEM ALL! Like I said, I really like Jean, and the staff was great I just feel like my needs were not met as a patient there to rule out all possible causes. She's knowledgable on alot of subjects but prescribing BC as a cure all for me was not what I wanted(I needed answers) and let me tell you endometriosis is a horrible female disease to live with. It's not her fault because not every doctor knows about endometriosis and most do like she did by prescribing lots of birth control which doesn't work for everyone. I only stayed with this practice so long because I loved Jean and thought she was right about nothing being wrong. I was very naive. I had been going to this practice for years for my annual. I didn't think that I could have had endometriosis. It NEVER crossed my mind. Sometimes I just want to go down to the office and tell her so that she can know that I still love her but would have appreciated a more thorough look. If she had discovered it was endo I would have been happy staying with her and we could have gone over treatment options. So if you want to go to Wade Dickinson you can, but understand that you need to be firm and insist that they do everything they possibly can to help. You're paying for it and I should have spoken up and been more persistent with what should have been done. I'm glad I saw that other doctor.

Dr. Dickinson was the only pleasant thing about his office and even then I only saw him 2 times throughout my prenatal care. The front office staff are idiots, quite literally. No matter when my appointment was, first of the day or last of the day , I could expect to be in the office waiting for at least 90 minutes, no joke. What's the point of an appointment then? And when my boyfriend questioned the timeliness of the staff, he was banned from all future appointments. Seriously? The appointment setters have no clue what's going on except for Margeret. They tried scheduling me my last appointment before my c-section the day of my surgery. They also charge $5 per page for all disability paperwork! Ihave never heard of that. From waiting hours for my appointment to the father of my child being banned to the total lack of professionalism, the experience was ruined. Not only will I never recommend the Dr. to family and friends, but I will recommend anyone and everyone to think twice before choosing him as an OB-GYN. I should say this is nothing against the Dr., but more against his staff.

I've been Doctor Dickinson's patient for 11+ years and I am it about to go anywhere else. He is an amazing professional with an amazing team backing him up. He takes the time to know his patient and makes it a point to provide excellent care. I highly recommend Doctor Dickinson.

-i DO NOT recommend this doctor if u like to wait for an hour.I have others things i can discuss but I rather not even bother. people are still going to go to him. From my experence I hate this place.

At first i loved the place buy after a while they really didnt care much. Several times that i waited an hour or more just to see the doctor. I waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes and an hour in the room. Waist of my whole day. And they i still have to see some one else to make an appointment. And the one i always got was rude and mean. Never seems like she was happy. My next pregnancy i well not come back.

Always courteous and professional, Dr. Dickinson is a wonderful doctor. We were thrilled that he was on-call when the baby decided to make her debut.

He saved my life when i gave birth to my daughter i encourge everyone expecting mom to see him

He is a great doctor and I recommend him to everyone I can!
