Dr. Wade Allen Harris, MD

This dr saved my life many, many years ago. His psychiatric knowledge and ability to help was also great!

Saw Dr Harris when I was an inpatient at GHS. He asked me questions, then interrupted me as I was answering, basically answering them for me. Even though I have been treated for YEARS by another Dr, he accused me of making up my symptoms!!

Dr Harris ignored what we tried to tell him about our brother. He was a big joke and my brother did not get any help at all from Dr Harris. Now after many more issues my brother is back at Springbrook but found Dr Harris is no longer there. Imagine that.......Heaven help wherever he went as if something happens to our brother it is on Dr. Harris' head. Hope he can live with that!

I found Dr Harris exceptionally helpful in his diagnosis and treatment of my family member.

Dr.Harris is the best. He diagnosis of my agoraphobia was right on. I was fortunate enough to get to see Dr. Harris when I was taken to Marshall Pickens. He cares and he has the experience to see beyond how people want their diagnosis to be, to what it should be.

Having a family member with mental health problems I have dealt with many doctors. I can honestly say that Dr. Harris is the "only" one I had a difficult time with! I don't know if he needs to retire or he is just tired of his job, but if you want to feel small and helpless and less than, then he will surely help you feel that way. Not,,,a good feeling when you are already feeling hopeless about your loved one.
