Dr. Waqqar Khan-Farooqi has been an amazing asset to this valley. He is a bright, talented physician who truly cares about his patients. I had a very complicated case with previous multiple surgeries by others and he agreed to take me on as a patient. He has been so helpful always giving me plenty of time in the office to answer all of my questions and concerns. Not only is he talented with his knowledge and surgical abilities but he is also a very compassionate human being. If you have a foot problem, this is the only person to see!

I saw Dr. Khan-Farooqi as a third opinion for a difficult problem with my ankle when running I had been dealing with for years that no doctor could figure out. Dr. Khan-Farooqi took the time to ask a lot of questions, go over my history, examine me, watch me walk and more. He figured it out during that visit, but got an MRI to make sure. He then called me to go over the MRI so I did not have to drive 3 hours each way again. After surgery, I am pain-free and running again! He is the best!

Worth the wait

He helped me with a difficult ankle problem. I'm from out of the area, but will return to Aspen to see him for any of my orthopaedic foot and ankle needs.

I was visiting Aspen from out of state when I heard from a friend that Dr. Khan-Farooqi did a great job taking care of her broken ankle. I saw him for a second opinion. He and his staff worked hard to get all my info so he could give me a thorough explanation of my problem and options. I will travel to Aspen to see him from now on!

I was visiting from Pennsylvania and had questions about a chronic condition. I was able to get in quickly, and he spent quite a bit of time explaining my condition without jumping right to surgery as the fix. He seemed to care a lot about me and my individual needs even though I was from out of town. I would definitely come back to Colorado to have him continue to take care of my ankle issue.

I will travel Colorado to go see him. He was always there to answer any questions and explain them very well.

I had a bunion corrected by Dr Khan-Farooqi, and have been very pleased with his care. He called me the day after the surgery to check on me, and answered all of my questions patiently. When I got my dressing wet, he saw me right away and his assistant changed it for me. He spent a lot of time with me at each visit making sure I had everything explained to my satisfaction. Most importantly, I used to have a horrible time with pain and finding shoes. Thanks to Dr. Khan-Farooqi's expertise, I am all better. We are lucky to have such a skillful surgeon in Grand Junction!

Dr. khan Farooqi helped me with my hammer toe problem. He is an amazing doctor who knows his stuff. if you have a foot problem i would totally recomind him. He is good in his practice and is very caring.

This guy fixed my ankle after a painful sports injury that left unable to walk more than a mile, I wish I could thank him again for being a super cool individual while also being a great doctor.
