Greatest hip doctor out there fixed both of my hips thank you!

He checked my knee replacement from 2018,and checked my hip revision from 2012., all fine. I trust him implicitly and he recommended a NSAID for the suspected tentonitis in my knee.

Searched over a year for the right doctor .I found the search worthwhile. Brilliant skilled doctor.First visit put me at ease.

Excellent results from my hip replacement surgery

Dr. Paprosky replaced a hip 3 years ago. He replaced both of my husbands knees, so when I needed a new knee I knew who to go to. I felt like I was in good hands at 83 years old. I will have to have a second knee done when recovery of first knee is over. Dr. Paprosky will be my doctor. The daily words of encouragement were very helpful all along the way.

A brilliant, caring surgeon who has compiled an awesome team! Jennifer and Stephanie are great listeners, knowledgeable about all things hip or knee. I hope I never need knee replacements, but I now have two Paprosky hips and I am very well-satisfied! Elmhurst Hospital provided super care and even the text messages exude health and hope as the follow you in the rehab process. There are fine practitioners throughout the Chicago area, but none more thorough , compassionate, and skillful than Dr. Paprosky and his team!

Dr Paprosky and staff have been outstanding and highly responsive to any needs I’ve had. While I wish I could have seen Dr P during post-op visits, his staff and especially Jennifer have been wonderful. My recovery never posed a problem. I’ve had no abnormal issues. I was told by numerous medical and PT staff that my incision was flawless and healing 100%. Pain management was perfectly administered for my situation and all daily texts were aptly timed for where I was in my recovery. I would highly recommend Dr Paprosky, and if I require another joint replacement in the future, I would immediately contact him.

I had a pleasure to have a hip surgery conducted by Dr Paprosky. He is highly professional, very attentive to details. Very open, approachable. I would say he is one of the best doctors I have ever met!

Dr. Paprosky very thorough with my follow up after knee replacement. His staff is very helpful.

Had 2 meetings with Jennifer. She was excellent. Would have liked to see Dr. Paprosky though. I am wondering if I will see him in the future or continue with Jennifer. I feel as though once operation is over he does not want to see you.

Dr Paprosky is outstanding. His nurse practitioners and support staff are sensitive and caring. Through the use of encouraging text messages and excellent teaching materials all of my questions were anticipated and answered. I am so glad I chose Dr. P and Rush.

Dr Paprosky and his staff have been wonderful. Jennifer is responsive and positive. My good results and quick recovery were due in part to Dr Paproskys surgical expertise and talented Fellows. The after care texts were spot on as I recovered. The entire experience was as positive as total knee replacement might be.

My surgery by this practice was never done right from the beginning and they would not help me at all!!! It took me 4 years to find someone to re-do the life changing surgery they botched up so badly. I had to endure a grueling 6 and 1/2 hour redo surgery to take out the wrong size knee replacement components they used. I will never be the same since they did the 1st surgery WRONG!!! USE CAUTION WITH THIS DOCTOR!!

Great bedside manner. Had a few opinions prior to surgery and what sold me on Dr. Paprosky was that he actually cared to spend a lot of time with me and explained things with models. Always educating. Not something I experienced with other surgeons that are “too busy”. My surgery went well, recovery as planned, no terrible scar. Especially liked the opt in emails about daily goals, new exercises, medication tips etc. I would highly recommend. May need a hip and for me there is no other. Just don’t retire!

I recently had a total knee replacement for which I’m still recuperating. Replacement surgery is a daunting experience but Dr. Paprosky’s daily text messages encouraged me and guided me through the process and answered questions before I even had to ask them. They are very worthwhile! As you’re going through the recuperation, you wonder when you’ll get better. I kept reminding myself to have patience, everything in time. I have to say now that I’m almost 3 months post-op, things DO get better. Still have some swelling but mobility has improved and the pain has reduced from before the surgery. Be patient and consistent with your therapy and all will be well. Dr. Paprosky’s PA, Jennifer, is top notch as well. She is patient, attentive and clear in her explanations. Stephanie is courteous and kind too. Dr. Paprosky and his staff are without a doubt the best around!
