When Dr. Minor retired I did not know who I was going to see. Before I left the office someone suggested Dr. Abide. I am so glad they did suggest Dr. Abide. Dr. Abide is very professional, informative, approachable and empathetic. Dr. Abide takes the time to listen to you in a caring and friendly manner and answer any question you might have. One thing that impressed me is that Dr. Abide is punctuality. You do not have to sit long in the waiting room nor sit long in the examine room. He didn't push medicines at me for the usual "quick fix" and was alert to the fact that I was willing to work hard and be a responsible patient. I visited Dr. William Abide for the first time since I moved from Austin to San Marcos and found him to be very intelligent, concerned and efficient in his time spent with me. Courteous and concerned staff. Even though visit was just an annual check-up, Dr. Abide took extra time in discussing events and making sure he had answered all my questions with interest and a caring personality. Have recommended him to my wife for her first annual check-up.

I recently was seen by William Abide, MD and he was great. I was scared to go at first but everyone there was really welcoming and understanding. He gave me a very helpful referral to the ARA. He really works with you and seemed to have genuine concern over his patients. I'm not getting paid or making this up. I like and respect Dr. Abide because of his knowledge, his friendliness, and his willingness to listen empathetically. He gives friendly pointers and low-pressure advice for a heart-healthy lifestyle. The office staff is always courteous, competent and very efficient to help appointments remain on schedule.

I have been a patient of Dr. Abide for a couple years and have been extremely happy with the care he provides. My sister recently moved here from out of state and it was critical that her cardiac care and blood clotting testing not be disrupted. Dr. Abide and his office were very proactive in requesting my sister's records ahead of her arrival and he was already prepared to receive and treat her immediately upon her arrival. There was uninterrupted continuity of care and I believe at a much greater quality level with Dr. Abide and his team. I highly recommend him!

I really like Dr. Abide. . he is very personable, listens to you, and doesn't keep you waiting for a very long time. I would highly recommend the clinic and Dr. Abide to anyone. . if you need to go to a heart clinic, I don't think you can beat this one. . also waiting room time is usually five or ten minutes at the most. . very happy with the clinic and Dr. Abide.

When I was in the hospital the Friday weekend before thanksgiving this year, Dr. Abide came to see me in er and in my room later. He did a successful cardioversion Sat. morning.

My husband was seeing another provider and his health was declining in an alarming way. I am so grateful to Dr. Abide because he corrected his medications, listened well, and has supervised remarkable improvements. Prior to Dr. Abide as care provider, my husband was literally so dizzy he could not function and his INR numbers reached 5.9 without appropriate corrections. Dr. Abide has my undying gratitude!
