Dr. William Barry Kleinman, MD

My experience with Dr. Kleinman was 5-star. He thoroughly explained my son’s condition and made me feel comfortable with the proposed treatment plan. Additionally, he took into consideration what would be easiest for my family in terms of accessing follow up care and the timing for my son’s future surgery which I appreciated very much.

Dr. Klenman is the best in his field. No wait time to get in and no wait time in the room. Easy to talk to also.

My visit to Dr Kleinman's office was a very good experience. The staff was prompt and very thorough examining me.

I fell and smashed my humerus bone like a flattened ice cream on top of a cone. He x-rayed me and said I would need surgery called reverse shoulder arthoplasty. I did not want surgery! I told him I would prefer to wait and see if my body would heal on its own. Six weeks later, the x-ray showed very little healing. He very calmly and seriously told me I would never have the use of my arm, without continual pain, unless I did the surgery. I acquiesced against my will. I am now 6 months into physical therapy and daily exercise. He is strict about me doing the exercises faithfully. I am 77 and healing slowly but surely. There's still pain and suffering, but he assures me that in another 6 months I should be doing a whole lot better. I intuitively feel he is right. He has a lot of experience, knowledge, and grit. He's pushy for good reason, and he's very confident. I am extraordinarily thankful for him being in this field and for his strict discipline to keep me from giving up! He's a no nonsense, well disciplined kind of guy with bright intelligence and clear guidelines. Also he has magic hands that know how to do a serious operation like this without undue harm.

I had pains in my shoulder and Dr. Kleinman wasted no time and wanted to know the cause of the issue, but he didn’t want to waste my time with costly and unnecessary tests. With a simple Xray he found the issue and took care of it. I’ve been dealing with this pain for almost a year now and I was thrilled to know that it is quickly being taken care of.

I fell, and broke both of my wrists; more complicated than that. That they were pulled all the socket.. Dr. Kleinman operated.. a 6-hour surgery.. On November 9th; today I was released and will have continued occupational therapy for a while but otherwise thanks to the doctor, I have youth of both my hands. I give him a five star and I told him God chose him to do the surgery I highly recommend him!

Although I did not see Dr. Kleinman himself, his associate was thorough and answered my questions most professionally, assuring me that the arm/shoulder break had healed nicely and no further inspection would be needed. He assured me that I could again safely drive my automobile.

Wait time less than five minutes, my issue was covered by an associate of Dr. Kleiman, but he appeared about midway through my appointment and graciously answered any questions I had. Highly respected very good.

Dr Kleinman personally observed the condition of the surgical site and removal of sutures by his colleague Dr Koerner. They answered all my questions and gave reassurance to me. I would highly recommend the Hand to Shoulder Center. Everyone shows caring professionalism.

Appointment was no problem. Dr. Kleinman took me right away and my follow up went very well. He has done approximately 10 surgeries on my hands and I would never go to anyone else. He diagnosed the problem immediately and now everything is back to normal per his diagnosis, treatment and follow up.

I have seen Dr Kleinman since 2003! You couldn’t ask for a better Doctor. He is very, very intelligent, listens to my concerns, is thorough with steps of x-rays, and other steps to decide what is happening. He makes sure you know what he thinks. He is also a pro with the needle! Hand shots are not fun! Surgery is explained thoroughly! He is a funny guy but first a doctor! The Hand to Shoulder Center is the place and friendly!! I would not go anywhere else!

I was able to get a appointment with Dr.Kleinman to look at my right wrist that is giving me discomfort.Through the years from 1985-1995 I had surgery at this fine establishment with Dr.Idler who now had retired,I needed some advice on my wrist and Dr.Kleinman was able to explain to me my options..Very professional and easy to talk to. Dr Kleinman is a very skilled surgeon. He explained everything very well which included sketches. I was in surgery for 4.5 hours because my hand accident was extensive. It turned out great. He is also very handsome and friendly.
