Dr. William Lawrence Skinner, MD

Terrible bedside manner. Even my grandfather, who is the one that was dying from cancer, could tell that this guy sucked. Do you know that oncologist get paid every time a patient takes chemo? He recommended chemotherapy to my grandfather who is stage four. Jerk. Heaven for bid anything happens to me… I will be asking for another doctor. This guy needs to retire

Plan on making a day of an office visit. Ive had 2 office visits and both times was a 2 hour wait in the exam room. I walked out on the 2nd visit.

Dr Skinner is lazy and doesn't seem to care. Why would he? He gets paid weather your in his office or not. He's an employee of Lourds, he's on salary. I've had 2 visits to his office and it very much like going to a over crowed free clinic. Any time you ask an employee a question they act like your bothering them. The 1st visit after being moved to the exam room I waited for him for 2 hrs. before he showed up. The 2nd visit the same thing. I walked out. wont be back.

Unbelievably rude and contentious man. He seemed kind and compassionate at hospital visits, when I told both him and his associates that I would not take chemotherapy.and he assured me that he would support my decisions,..but at my follow up appointment he was rude and almost threatening to both me and my husband . He had some lady with a clipboard standing beside the door that I suppose he was performing for. His parting comment to me when he realized I meant no chemotherapy was that he could refer me to hospice. After over a year with another oncologist doing surveillence, I have clear scans and blood work . I cancelled any more appointment with Dr. Skinner, of course.

He does not care about his patients, only the money. He gets a kick back on the chemo drugs. He paints a rosy picture at first . He would give chemo to a patient lying half dead in the floor. His partner Dale is no better.

Rude, abrupt and not very helpful. Office is shabby, dirty and very poorly managed. Wait times are unbelievable 2-4 hours per appointment. would never recommend this doctor to anyone

Very pleasant. Explained procedure well. Wouldn't hesitate to go to him again. My experience with Dr Skinner was in the hospital. I can't address office appointments.
