Dr. William Walton Bowen, MD

I’ve had both my hips replaced by Dr Bowen. The right one 3 years ago, the left one 3 months ago. Both surgeries have been successful. I am delighted to have my active life back! The instruction manual I was given and the pre op class prepared me well. Going into both surgeries in good shape helped my recovery enormously. Because I was familiar with the the recovery routine the second time around, I was able to do without the pain medication, which made for an even better recovery. I am very grateful to Dr Bowen’s surgical skills .He has given me a new lease on life

We always have heard how great Dr. Bowen is, and we feel the same way, Excellent care of husband's broken humerus. Cant say enough good things, from his bedside manner to his thorough professional evaluations and care given. Highly recommend!

Went to Dr. Bowen after seeing another Orthopedist. Which was a horrible experience. I was so pleasantly surprised when I met this Dr.!! He made me feel like he had all the time in the world. He answered all my question & my husbands. I feel so extremely comfortable having Dr. Bowen do my knee surgery. I would recommend him to EVERYONE!!! What a gem !!

Mr. Doctor Bond had saved my left foot when no other doctor want to touch it and he took the chance on me and he did he did a great job I still walk on my feet today

Dr Bowen is amazing and so is his staff. From start to finish the whole experience was exemplary .... I would definitely recommend this doctor. It may take a little while to get into him but he is worth the wait.

I have been seeing Dr. Bowen for about 6 years. I believe he is an excellent diagnostician, listens, and a good and caring doctor. Would highly recommend.

This year I fractured my femur which was fixed with a rod. Unfortunately, the equipment failed and when the rod came apart, my pelvic bone additionally became severely damaged. My family was told by the local hospital that I was suffering from unfounded pain because their staff failed to see the severity of the the problem. The pain eventually became so bad that I knew I would die if I returned to the local hospital in my area. Being familiar with Dr Bowen and the Frank Howard Hospital, I decided to show up in the ER. I am so grateful that Dr Bowen was on call that weekend. He took x-rays and was immediately knowing of the next actions required. Emergency surgery! He repaired the terribly damaged leg and pelvic bone. I truly believe he saved my life. I call him my doctor, but it would be selfish for me to not share him with the rest of the world and that is why I am writing this review. He is the best orthopedic surgeon I have known and if anyone I know ever needs knee or hip replacement he is the only one I would recommend. He has wonderful staff working for him and is in the BEST possible hospital where all staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I am forever grateful. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of me. My family all love you!
