Dr. Yasir Ahmad, MD

Doctor Yasir Ahmad is the best doctor I have ever had. His insight and understanding is impressive. I have recomended my doctor to everyone.

VERY ANGRY!!! Had a first doctor's appointment today at 2:30pm that I made 6 WEEKS AGO. 45 minutes later, a patient comes out of his office. Doctor peeks out then goes back in with a DRUG COMPANY REP. Gave him 15 more minutes then went to the front desk and told them that my time is important, too and if he is that inconsiderate to a new patient then I don't want to waste my time. Told her to shred my paperwork and I walked out.

When I first got there I was kinda excited it was my first time. Appointment was for 7:45 pm (1/11/16). We get there early by 7:20 pm the lady with red hair and glasses seems nice and so we fill out the forms and wait. Now it's 8:20 she comes by and says "do you mind waiting we have follow ups that we would like to take in first" At first I looked at her like are you kidding I replied "how long?" She says "10, 20, maybe 30 mins" An hour more goes by !!! At this point I am furious cause I waisted 2 hours of my life and the only reason I stayed is because my wife really wanted to go in. What ever now we are the last people left my wife goes in and then this lady asks for the $10 copay (cause we have insurance) which even makes me more mad cause it's our first time there and she made us wait 2 hours, so you couldn't waive the $10 fee? That is the last time I will go there. Terrible service, oh and they have a 5 gallon drinking fountain with no cups?! Really? After all this I didn't want to see the doctor cause the service here is terrible. If your a regular I guess it's good they take you in right away, but when it comes to new people they do not care about you.

Dr. Ahmad is the most caring doctor I've ever met. He listens to your concerns and does everything he can to help you. He also returns calls if you are in a crisis. He is the best. He saved my life.

He is the best psychiatrist I've ever been too. He saved my life. If I have a problem and need to talk to him, he always calls back.

Dr. Ahmad does not get to the problem. He does not care to listen. He never returns phone calls when in need of medication or an appointment. I have tried to reach him many times and now have moved on to a more competent Dr.

Outstanding staff, listening, service. Cannot say enough

Does not take time to listen to his clients. One time while making an appointment he became negative and verbal. While under his care I ended up in the hospital and when I got out he acted as if he didn't even care. I understand he is a Psychiatrist but it doesn't give him the right to treat me like I'm "mental" or crazy" he has a responsibility to his patients. It is also incredibly difficult when my patient care records or information needs to be transferred between doctors he never has a solid answer on his course of treatment.

i went to see Dr. Ahmad for various mental health issues I had been diagnosed with , he helped me realize the core of a lot of my problems so I was able to focus on improving my anxiety and when I addressed I wanted to try a non-medicinal root- he provided options and didn't just try to sell me off to drug companies. He was honest and related to me. I would definitely recommend his care and continue to see him. I was also late for my appointment, he stayed later to address my concerns.

I have sufferd with mental Illness all my life. I have seen so many doctors through out my life I kind of lost count. Dr.Ahmad is a life saver. He is a young progressive guy that makes you feel very comfortable to talk to about anything.He really cares about his work and goes to great lenths to help. He really goes out of his way to treat you. If you need help or know someone who does, this guy is no joke.

Dr. Ahmad's office was nice. I was never rushed and had a long list of questions regarding trying a new medicine for my anxiety- and he answered all of them. I also am not in a position to pay for full price medication all the time. He took the time to research a few pharmacies like Shoprite and Walmart- and got back to me about where I'd get my medicine for cheaper. He was genuinely concerned with making sure I got my medicine and treatment- I appreciated that in Dr. Ahmad.

I would say Dr. Yasir J Ahmad is a very kind , very caring and very helpful doctor. He usually has to deal with people who have some kind of mental disorders. During my visit in his office he had a patient in the room and I could hear that this patient was insisting to get Viagra from him. Dr. Ahmad was trying to make this patient understand that at the present time he has run out of samples. I saw the remarkable patience of Dr. Ahmad.The patient was very loud and threatened Dr. Ahmad that he will keep on writing very bad reviews about him .This did delayed my appointment time but it was understandable. When Dr. Ahmad saw me he was calm as if nothing happened and he gave me the same attention.Remarkable!

Dr. Ahmad is great, he is a good listner and i'm happy to hear he is leaving the "russian" practice in Hackensack

Dr. Ahmad did a superb job with me, i feel a lot better after being in his care. He was attentive and had a professional and caring bed-side manner. He was very thorough in my diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Ahmad is a very nice gentleman and he did listened me patiently and helped me to recover. He diagnosed me well and treated well. The staff were courteous and nice and they did treated me well. He retuned my calls too. God bless him.
