Dr. Raizin is a great doctor. He views your case before seeing you and listens to your concerns and provide feedback to your concerns. Good bedside manner.

Gave hope

Was referred to Dr. Raizen because of DVTs. He's competent and seems to listen well. His assistant is good. My issues: 1) he doesn't provide lab results after tests;and 2) the lab staff are rude, bordering on unprofessional. The phlebotomist just grabs your arm - doesn't bother to ask which, just grabs you. She also got an attitude at one visit when I refused to allow a blood draw for anything other than the PT INR. Also, the receptionists may or may not acknowledge you when you check in, may or may not stamp your parking ticket. And good luck if you call the office expecting to speak to a person. There too many other good hematologists out there - not sure this one is worth it given how bad the staff is.

Good Dr. But works at bad place in my opinion. Bad diagnosis by other Dr.of the staff. Treated for wrong type of cancer.
